But would this team have beat the 95-96 Bulls? Obviously not.

Wow. Not a single positive comment in the comments section. People are just looking for a reason to hate Xbox these days. I’ll never understand fanboy culture (and before anyone tries to accuse me of being an Xbox fanboy because Orchid is my avatar: I have a PC with 980tis, a Switch, Xbox One, and a PS4)
The Irony when everyone was praising sony for having a more powerful console. Now xbox does it and it’s a bad thing? At least it ain’t some half assed mid generation console with nothing to bring but upscaled 4k and not even UHD blu-ray.
What’s funny is in 20 years LeJordan Durant Chamberlain is going to come along and be impossible and the people clowning older players today will be fucking IRATE that anyone could say he’s better than LBJ, because they saw him do miracle shit for 10 years, while bemoaning young people and rock stars and their…
Kerr also added: Except for the ‘96 Bulls. Those guys, especially the guys coming off the bench, would have crushed this team.
They’ve removed rings before.
I do enjoy KD stepping up and really earning the MVP. While the 2015 series was great it felt like a scramble to name an MVP who wasn’t LeBron (who didn’t get it ONLY because his team lost). KD has truly stepped up and deserves the nod far more than any other Warrior in this series.
It’s ironic the way that these rich white guys get into office and never retire, because they stay relatively healthy because of THEIR FREE GOVERNMENT HEALTH CARE, ain’t it?
Scottie Pippen 7x All Star, 7x All NBA, Hall of Famer.
BJ Armstrong All Star the year Jordan left.
Horace Grant All Star the year Jordan left.
Steve Kerr led the league in 3pt% while playing with Jordan. Kukoc averaged 13 ppg off the bench when he was there too. There is no doubt Jordan had a super team, and it wasn’t…
Is that a joke? You’re saying that Jordan, rather than LeBron, did more to make his teammates better? Many of Jordan’s teammates have said that playing with MJ was absolutely miserable, while LeBron makes scrubs millions of dollars by making them look great playing next to him. Jordan dominated his team to a degree…
Jordan was on a better team than this Cavs team and never played an opponent anywhere near the quality of this Warriors team, so your take is really really really really really really really dumb. Jordan took 7 tries to even make it to the Finals, lost in the first round his first 3 tries while only winning one game…
When Jordan left to play baseball, the Bulls still won 55 games and made the playoffs. When LeBron left for Miami Cavs went from 60 win to less than 20. Michael Jordan did not “make his teammates play on his level” he had a team of stars brought in around him that LeBron has never had.
This is the single worst series of comments I’ve seen someone make on Deadspin in 2017.
If Jordan got done with his 7th year in the league, was a free agent, and his best teammate was Mo Fucking Williams, you’re absolutely insane or dumb if you think he wouldn’t have gone to a better team.
You’re right. He made Scottie Pippen and Dennis Rodman hall of famers through sheer force of will. You should have seen how badly all of his teammates sucked at basketball before they were allowed to enter the aura of his greatness and magically play up to his level.
Wait, how is the fact that the Bulls drafted Scottie Pippen, who is a Hall of Famer and without whom Jordan won ZERO championships, a knock in his favor? Jordan had better teammates chosen for him. LeBron chose better teammates (in part because the team that drafted him sucked at choosing teammates). How does the…
Those players being Scottie Pippen and for three years Dennis Rodman, when no other super teams roamed the league.
Yeah, Scottie Pippen had nothing to do with it and the rest of that Bulls roster was a bunch of bums Jordan WILLED into Hall of Famers.
I know! It’s amazing how many championships Jordan won without another Hall of Famer in his prime by his side!
If you think MJ’s supporting cast wasn’t markedly stronger than LeBron’s...I disagree.
