Warrior and Power sound desperate and therefore pathetic.

And yet they do this all the time for male actors.
Only one on this list that features a female protagonist? Beh. Not enough to make me stick my nose out the door.
Dead tentacles would make me cry too. I prefer live tentacles.
Huh? Objects to sex shaming but follows up with using the slur "whore"? Confusing mixed messages. :S
As an aside, I don't really consider women weaklings or incapable of fighting. I think such violent acts are contemptible on their own regardless of who they're perpetrated against.
Cyclists are not pedestrians. They need to abide by traffic laws just as vehicles do. I don't know that they have the right of way but obviously even if they don't that doesn't mean it's acceptable to run then over.
OMG please tell us that you told them to shut it. Please?
I agree, the lawsuit is very much a "blame the victim" move.
Um no, on a dark street you really can't see cyclists easily, even with your headlights on, until you're very close to them, unless they're decked out with reflectors and lights. I know many cyclists who just won't ride after dark because of this or if they do it's with one of those orange safety vests.
I don't see this particular person's proclivities as being a reason to believe anti-gay propaganda, not least of all because this person is not gay that we know, but most of all because villainizing an entire group of people because of one person's behavior (who doesn't even fall into that group, I cannot stress…
I'm with Katie. I live in CA and as you said, SDCC is number one in sheer overwhelming size. I'm super skeptical of CA being in the pink. I know loads of nerds.
Why....have they animated a grown man in what is obviously an egg yolk suit, doing a silly dance, when they've specifically created a cartoon character that looks like this? Like why is the cartoon character not the one doing the silly dance. How does this make sense?
No, I generally don't really think it's wasted, ever. In particular, I don't think a literary form that is geared towards women is intrinsically a waste, either.
Oh I really loved those books. I remember one where I (the protag) became fascinated with the super minimalist work of a differently-abled Japanese artist, followed them to Japan, got married and then in our twilight years, discovered that the super minimalist painting I (the protag) though was theirs, was actually…
This ending totally confounded me when I first read it as a child since it wasn't like anything I'd ever read in a book before——I expected to be told, in narrative, of my (character's) demise. Instead it was merely implied (although heavily). The Mystery of Chimney Rock was the first CYOA book I read and I just…
Seems more petty to tell someone how they should take the death of someone who had such an indelible impact on their life.
O_o You are shitting me, right? You actually believe writing this article was professionally damaging for this woman??? What the fuck do you think she does for a living? Because I am pretty sure it's damn obvious that her lived experience has shaped how she makes her living, ie, social work.
I would say this attitude of gun rights being hailed above all other rights is really more pervasive and prevalent in the South. On the West coast, people might give you a funny look if you admit to owning a gun.
The solution to a problem seems so simple when you're removed from the situation, doesn't it? Unfortunately, that doesn't often match the reality.
