Seems unlikely. As Arn pointed out, that level of genetic knowledge is pretty basic. I don’t know anything about genetics other than what I learned in HS, and even I laughed at the idea of recessive genes being somehow less desirable rather than just less frequently expressed.

Well nothing is exactly like Gammell’s watercolor/ink illustrations, but (apparently unlike this article’s author) I thought they did a good job translating his designs to CGI. 

I mean, I saw it, am a die hard fan of the books, and thought it worked just fine. They even made it bloodless but still scary. Guess you have to watch it and judge for yourself.

I saw the ads for the game release everywhere but from those ads could not begin to discern where I could get this game, what platform it was for, or the nature of the gameplay, so my momentary interest came to nothing.
