Now all the zealots I spend my day avoiding will quiet down. Thanks, Hollywood.

You're a fanboy.

The movie was a shitty option of a great comic book. Alan Moore wrote Watchmen specifically to showcase what COULD NOT be done in movies. Trying to turn Watchmen into a motion picture for people too illiterate for comics books is like making a flying lawnmower.

I guess they were wrong when they said that you can't beat a dead horse.  Hell, the harder you beat it the more money comes out!  If only everything worked that way…

Is this really more interesting than all the people getting killed in Syria?

Thomas Edison was an ignorant jerk that strong-armed anything he couldn't control.  He didn't even invent the light bulb, he just spent a lot of time and effort trying everything under the sun to make it mass-producible.  He used trial and error methods to excess because he had absolutely no respect for education or

See?  Now, I don't know who any of those people you just talked about are!  I have been blissfully unaware of all the drivel that a TV brings into your life for going on five years now.  Sometimes people ask me if I caught the latest episode of whatever and I tell them that I don't watch TV.  They get the strangest

My entire family stopped watching TV back when Bush (the last one) was in Office, we noticed that we were paying a bunch of money for a bunch of reruns, we didn't care for sports, and the ones who watched it most was our children.  We pulled the Cable out, and now we turn our TV on only to watch movies.  I highly

Goodness forbid that parents should have to pre-screen a film before letting their children, or (gasp) taking their children to see one.  I thought that all these little 'rating' agencies were just shortcuts for people who really didn't want to have to think for themselves, or show any interest in their children's
