Maybe it’s an amazing show, but all I remember from that trailer is the wigs and the comically bad aging make up. God forbid they actually hire older actors instead of hot 40somethings. The 20/30somethings passing as teens are also hot. I guess everyone is hot. Are you sure this isn’t a CW show?

Yeah but season one had like 50 show runners.  At one point I think I was running the show

You hit the nail on the head with Jenny... she’s just so SAD. And that’s why I don’t like her storylines. I hope she gets something happy this season.

This would be much better if it contained the, y'know, trailer.

Yeah, I gave up on Hart after the first few eps. Seemed like it was trying too hard to be King of the Hill-ish, kinda.

It’s also hilarious how ZSJL kind of makes Darkseid kind of weak. He got his ass kicked by Amazonians and can’t remember which planet he got defeated on. How the fuck is he that big a threat when some no-name Amazonians easily beat him?

I just want to take the time to mention this little quote from the Hollywood Reporter article covering this (https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/heat-vision/ava-duvernays-new-gods-james-wans-the-trench-dc-movies-not-moving-forward-at-warner-bros):

That doesn’t really track. A Wrinkle in Time came out March 2018; a week after it came out (when it was already tracking to do poorly), they announced DuVernay was directing New Gods. A year later, they announced King was writing it. For “because AWIT tanked” to be the reason they’re pulling it now, 3 years later,

Considering the reason for the Windows operating system’s success has been its incredible backwards compatibility, this doesn’t surprise me. Microsoft has the institutional knowledge on how to really make backwards compatibility work, and it’s only gotten easier for them as the Xbox these days is more or less just

Yeah, well, when all your consoles are pretty much the same, but more powerful, thank God they are backwards compatible.

One of my least favorite Kinja “features.”

You know what’s really fucking great perusing this on my phone. Can’t even see the comments section when typing.

Consider it a fair warning, now you don’t risk being unexpectedly exposed to Logan Paul

If you pay it off every month, you should absolutely use a credit card instead of debit so you can reap the benefits of cash back/points. After a few years you can get a decent trip out of it!

I mean... in the Borat movies, an actor is presenting himself as a movie character to strangers who are (for the most part) not professional performers, and filming what happens based on those false pretenses. You really don’t get how that might compare to this at all

The credits “BTS” sequence was top-tier, just getting to be able to peek behind the curtain a tad was absolutely delightful.

wish i could have seen it in a packed theatre, but it’s a testament to how good it is that i was still cry-lauging at home. really impressed with how lil rel stepped into that world and fit in, what a pro.

not even really an Andre fan, but just watched this, and it’s delightful moments were really in how kind and tolerable people were of his antics. Major fit of laugher was the dude with Haddish as a jailbird (Haddish was a scene stealer).

Or.... the military is often considered a great place to recruit proven, objective-oriented and team-oriented leaders who can often align teams to organizational goals while simultaneously staying flexible to the needs of a dynamic market. Which is why most successful companies try to recruit veterans.
