Is there something that prevents you guys from notifying folks that this article is WoT? Is KinjAVclub that inflexible you can’t put What’s On Tonight somewhere above the title of the article? And, if that doesn’t work, put a graphics bar across the bottom of the article image itself? That can’t be that hard. It takes

It’s like I said over at the real WoT board on disqus. This feature is the most useless thing on the AVClub. There is like one or two paragraphs and only a couple of listings for tv shows. The real appeal of WoT are things like Jay S’ Jeopardy coverage or any of the regular threads and all of the insomniacs who

Victoria Coren’s book about her life as a poker player is also well worth reading.

Still here, giving this a shot. Presumably still in the grays. It’s also my birthday and I was thinking it would be a lovely present to get out of the grays.

All that work to find WOT, and no one’s here.

Tough titties to them. Six months ago I started working on a website which had been around for ten years and it’s a disaster, but “don’t touch the old code” isn’t an option.

My guess would be that the people who originally built Kinja have left and the current team doesn’t want to touch that code. Which translates into the same result.

Again, I honestly don’t know. The truth is that I’ve told them how important it is to our commenters, and they’ve said they would “do discovery around it.” Maybe that’s developer code for “yeah, yeah..,” but really and truly, no one has said one way or the other yet. I would tell you if they did.

The plug-in is a real life-saver. Nested comments and being able to collapse/expand comments are extremely necessary for discussion.

I noticed that if you press the “Kinjamprove!” button, it folds in all the pending comments as well and doesn’t banish anyone to the greys. This thing is great!

Mr. O’Neal, I’ve been reading the AV Club for years, and after that exodus when the Dissolve group left, and around the same time when Leonard Pierce (?) got canned for a fake review, I was worried that the voices I loved here were gone (and to be honest, the site has been less vital to me in the years since). But

Goddamnit even thinking of that sequence for too long makes me start to cry ;__;
