Weird, this my place to read (and discuss, if by some rare chance I happen to be watching something in anything close to "real time") about TV and movies, but apparently I have very little in common with the staff when it comes to music. The only entries I cared enough to read were the Hot Water Music and The Flaming

Ah, I'm glad to hear a plausible explanation for that. I was really expecting her to confront Les ofter Molly left, and when she didn't it felt like an obvious plot hole. And a big part of what makes this show so amazing is how tightly it's plotted and how intricately everything interlocks. It's not unusual for films

I have an online friend who is almost certainly schizophrenic who calls him "Donzo". I quite like that one, at least coming from him.

Er, I agree with them here, too, so.. why exactly did I notice this time? You have no clue as to my capacity to recognize bias, whether my own or anyone else's. I mostly focus on show reviews here and I was primarily taking Meth Lab Shenanigans' word on their impression that the piece was unusual in it's attention to

Well, yeah, they weren't political before, but we've never had a reality television star with no political experience for a president before, either. I kinda get it.

Wait, who's the "they" you're referring to that're helping Malvo? I'm not aware that he has any allies (well, aside from possibly Chumph), at least at not up to this point in the series. It's entirely possible I missed a something, even something that big. I miss a lot of stuff.

Plus he keeps, like, rotating his thumb around like it's uncomfortable. Something you wouldn't do if it was just pain.

So this is (presumably) a hoax perpetrated by Schwartz. The "Update" isn't very clear because it refers to a "photo ABC broadcast" and there's no mention of a photo from ABC in the article. I guess we're supposed to know (or infer) that that's where Schwartz got her image. But, yeah, this is all quite silly.

There's, like, a lot of weird stuff out there, so I thought it prudent to double-check before commenting and I did find this:P

If the headline was changed to indicate that there was an update, and the update was that the other members disapprove of Araya's post, wouldn't it have made sense to further amend the headline to read "Araya wants…" or even "Slayer's Araya wants…" instead of "Slayer wants…"? Or are we just manufacturing controversy

Well, it says it's "about the atrocities", it doesn't say that the atrocities are presented as horrible (or wonderful) in the song. I never had a problem with it. I don't think any subjects are off-limits for metal (indeed much of it is intended to court controversy, Church of Misery exclusively writes songs about

Ah, good to hear. I really don't like to think of myself as insensitive or oblivious to social issues (although I'm sure I am in some instances), but yeah, I was kinda lost on that one.

Am I the only one that thought this was about drinking milk in the the theater before actually clicking the link? Gosh I hope not :/

No idea what the reviewer's talking about with "there’s something already loaded about a white human working on a black robot" and with a dick joke thrown in it was "tasteless and needlessly distracting". Just no idea whatsoever. Was there something happening there that would not have normally been happening in that

Yeah, I thought it was dookie beans, too. Then I rewound and knew it wasn't that, but still didn't know what she said. I never heard of adzuki beans. Is that like the new sriracha or something?

I just kinda feel like those guy's album of the year material was 30 years ago. I wouldn't even bother checking out a Metallica record at this point, no matter how well-received it was. And the recent Slayer stuff I've heard is just "OK". I'm actually not really too into thrash and more overtly aggressive sounding

I'm just commenting on the fact that the writers here seem oblivious to metal as a genre. Hell, even Pitchfork regularly reviews metal records now.

Haha, OK, guess it wasn't a good year for metal, then.

…uh. maybe because they had an abortion and still have some emotions about it? Back off, dude. People in this comment section get too personally invested in telling people how to process stuff.
