She has appeared in a couple episodes of Drunk History since then. The one where she plays Mary Dyer is worth checking out.

I never argued that One Chord Wonder wasn't a troll, only that your statement:

That's interesting, don't know how I missed that headline. And it absolutely is happening in real life! This was a juvenile detention center and not a prison, but it's just as evil and basically the same thing. This started to unfold in '08, so I'm sure the headline was a conscious nod on the show's part. The whole

I didn't realize Return of the Kings used Disqus. How weird. I'm just going from my experience, when someone has made a crappy comment to me, I've looked at their ratio, seen it was abysmal and knew at that point the problem wasn't mine.

Having one's comment page set to private indicates absolutely nothing about the content of their posts. People have all sorts of problems on the internet that can cause them to need to limit access which have nothing to do with their behavior. If someone's comments are set to private and you suspect they may be a

Actually, that may have been the longest thing I've ever written. For some reason I've started posting much longer commentary on various social media outlets, with differing reactions. In some places, where one or two line posts are the norm, it can seem a little unusual.

"Of course, for MCC the sole purpose of incarceration is $$$…"

I've never actual seen The Americans. It's definitely something I want to get to, though.

I hope you're right! The dynamic of Soso and the black girls is pretty interesting/funny/sweet.

Soso's depression was almost comically palpable. She was just wrecked.

Yeah, pretty sure the other black girls were just "tolerating" Soso at the table. I mean, there's probably going to be a connection between them going forward, but during a crisis, unfortunately, non-essentials can get jettisoned.

Oh, no, definitely not more of jerk (well for the most part). If anything, he becomes quite a bit more sympathetic. But, I would say he also becomes more "emotionally challenged". I was just seeing the comparison as kind of a general "intensifying personality" kind of thing, without necessarily the jerkiness being

Yup. The show definitely seems to be getting better as it goes along (I have one ep left in S2). It seems like they know what's making the show good and unique, and are smart enough to magnify those qualities. It is funnier, but it's also become more emotionally nuanced and (for lack of a better word) psychologically

Well, in retrospect, she may have had a much closer relationship with Blanca as a caretaker then she would've with a gardener. Actually, probably not even "much closer"; I think Blanca was the only person the old lady had. It would have made more sense if they'd given us at least one scene where the old lady wasn't

That's friggin' hilarious. It actually has a Wikipedia entry. Doesn't look like she had a huge role, though.

Drugs can do crazy things to your brain sometimes, though. She might've started out as a wunderkind for all we know.

The Styx/sticks thing was totally corny, but totally funny.

If you are a true Christian, EVERY thing is a Bible thing.

That's something that happens in life, though (if you're lucky). Every once in a decade or so you experience some inexplicable, life affirming synchronicity. I can definitely see that being more likely in NYC, though, since you guys have so much going on, creative diversity, etc. As a resident of Charm City, I can

I rewatched that scene to figure out how I'd missed Nora singing to Soso (which I feel totally cheated about having missed. I guess I was focused on Brook and didn't even notice Nora's lips moving), and, yeah, that was definitely Morello doing some thumb sucking. I really don't want to sound like I'm being critical
