Although not a non-SAG, I wonder what Warwick Davis’ total haul over his career has been, considering he’s been in 6 Star Wars movies (not to mention voice work in the cartoons), Willow, all the Harry Potter movies, all the Leprechaun movies, and then some other stuff?

I read that Footsteps is his favorite verse, right after Two Corinthians.

Kanye West celebrated the first anniversary of his Sunday Service  tax avoidance grift

The Car&Driver long term review was absolutely brutal, but Alfa released a few commercials for the Giulia and that’s it, not a thing about their legacy or why you should care about the cars they build. Show a montage of old racing footage from the decades, a few flashes of older models like the Spider, and finish by

The problem here is that we know the unknown. It’s like when you see a young woman with a Tinder profile that says she’s 29, and already been divorced three times. At 29, I can handle one divorce. Two would be pushing it. But three? I appreciate the disclosure, but I know, I’m signing up for two years at most, and

I have a hard time trusting a guy who looks like a Miami Vice extra.

A lot of trucking companies are so desperate for bodies to move trailers that they will hire and license anyone with a pulse, doesn’t matter if they actually understand how to drive or not.

I used to always be a polite and deferential driver towards semis. I still try to be polite, but so many drivers seem to just be your regular assholes in big rigs. And it seems like they don't communicate with each other.

It’s been a while

Wish I could star this more. When I was 20 something, a rental was an excuse to play. But I didn’t get many business trips because I was a junior dude. I travel more now now that I am a more senior guy. I drive a rental like I do my private car. Maybe a bit slower since I am unfamiliar with the car and where I am

That would bother me less. Someone depending on their car to make a living is going to take care of it, and for sure I have never had an Uber driver who was any sort of hoon.

Lol that’s cute, but keystrokes do not equate to difficulty. It would take a similar amount of keystrokes to explain how to use a standard turn signal. And even if you were right about this being counter-intuitive, then you must have missed the part where EITHER DIRECTION can be used to cancel.

Wait... people really have trouble understanding how the “return to neutral” style BMW indicators work? You press it slightly (before the click) to get three flashes, push fully (past the click) for a full signal. If you change your mind and want to turn it off, a slight press (before the click) in either direction can

Having owned 3 BMWs now with these types of turn signals (luckily they are moving away from them now), they are not hard to get used to. They are still frustrating sometimes and I’m glad they now have more traditional turn signal stalks. However, it shouldn’t be that hard to figure them out.

You just reignited and then immediately extinguished my long-standing desire for one. Thank/damn you.

So - your friend didn’t know any of the information associated with her account, got locked out, got BACK in despite not knowing that information - and it’s Apple that made the “garbage that shouldn’t be on the market”? I moved off of Apple years ago and never looked back but this seems like less of an Apple problem

Don’t waste time cross checking reviews and everything. I mean what did people do before the internet? They just went to places or wherever Rick Steves sent them.

As an old AND a person who has worked with electronics and sensors for 30 years, I would rather DRIVE MY FUCKING CAR and not rely on buggy equipment and software to do it for me

Having an “advanced driver assistance” system that is JUST good enough to drive the car right up until the moment it can’t is idiotic. Humans are not wired to work very well in that sort of situation.
