Not exactly. The problem is that demographers (is that really something?) gave us these broad classifications of “generations”. I am a “boomer”, but am old enough to be the son of a “boomer”. I have nothing in common with those born from 1946 to 1954. And very little in common with those born in ‘55 and ‘56. Those

My guess is that t-shirt sales drive over 50% of their profits.

Probably works as well as their AutoPilot.

You can find Smart ED’s for under $6k that are 5 years old or less. Plenty of parts available.

They are moving 10k cars A DAY through this one site. I think they have a pretty good market already.

On my first visit to Japan in ‘01 I left Manhattan on a Tuesday, flew into Tokyo on Thursday. The usual trash and garbage of Manhattan seemed like a litter cesspool compared to the near-pristine streets of Tokyo.

I would actually go broke.

New and refreshed parts on a 17 year old car driven 53k? Something stinks here. Considering the exhaust upgrade and shift knob change I think someone has been hooning this for the past 20% of the total mileage. CP

1st Gear - As a cautious investor, I shy away from TSLA the same was I shy away from crypto. There is no sound reason for Tesla’s current rise and valuation. Sure, some gambled and a reaping the rewards. Good for them. I suspect the larger buyers will be cashing out shortly and we will see the other side of the hill.

When I can get a 2001 Outback for less? CP

So, the Stinger can do BMW/Merc tricks from 8 years ago?

Nope - only when you buy a car that has massive depreciation on Day One. And that is not all cars. Or even cars that has “stalled” depreciation in out years. My used Z4 will never be worth less than what I paid for it.

The first problem is - WTF? A 6 year loan on a Kia? He went in, dropped $10k as down payment on a vehicle that was going to lose $20k the minute it rolled off the lot. Then managed to not even get 0% financing on top of all that. I think that Kia dealer is still laughing and telling stories about that sale.
