Classic idea:

That is horrendous. My heart goes out to everyone.

Up to 40% lower than 10x-40x the legal limit of NOx is still above the legal limit...

Agreed - After finding out that VW essentially falsified their emissions tests for 7 years, the EPA isn’t going to accept that the new engines don’t do something similar just because VW pinky-swears that it doesn’t.

Bad situation. Feel terrible for your average VW employee or salesman that is going to struggle for no fault of their own.

don’t fall for that trap. cheap vw = money pit.

I think it’s within the realm of possibility that they’d order the DMVs to withhold registration if you can’t show proof that the recall was performed.

Who are all these people who bought TDIs because of “clean emissions” and not “good gas mileage?” I always thought *that* was the hook - diesels have always been notorious for higher particulate emissions.

Sadly, almost every single prius I see is careening recklessly down the highway at 90-95mph completely negating all the efficiency gains they get.

This would be wonderful if it wasn’t terrible.

Wait, wait, I got it:

GM did not “intend” to kill this people, and it was a “flaw” (I know, they knew, and they took way to long to fix this etc), the people driving the cars could get out of the situation in some cases, it is a much more complicated case to prove intent.

No, it doesn’t matter. Harping on the definition of the term (which is as relatively fluid as any other word) is constantly brought up to derail and discredit any instance where someone does something completely moronic with a gun.

Ammosexual status confirmed....as long as we’re flingin’ around epithets.

Huh? Waving a gun around is a pretty serious crime, not to mention having a loaded weapon while driving is most likely a federal offense, in addition to state law.

In this instance he literally used a rifle to commit an assault.

Yes, they are.

Well then, I can pirate the games with good conscience. The worst that happens is that I screw over some idiotic corporation. They don't want my money anyway. And the devs won't see a dime from this game, so no harms done.

I can think of a REAL easy way to figure out who owns it: Release the game, then see who sues you!
