Aside from resembling an enormous, hideous lump of garbage, that Imperial concept makes me think of Rolls Royce much more than Bentley.

I understand that for you two that was fun. I’ve been in that sort of situation in multiple old Volvos, my old Porsche 944, and some Fords. The risk you take makes it fun... for the people involved.
Yes. I have hobbled a car home, and without the crew or the facilities and resources they have at their disposal, I can’t say that its very fun.
The theme of the show is having fun in cars that most people would label as piles of shit. Sure, the “because roadkill” mantra adds to the show, but sometimes it seems like…
In general I like them. Very informative at times and usually very entertaining. But the “because roadkill” mantra gets super old when their intentions don’t pan out. I get that this is a “second job” for them (arguably less so now with Motor Trend On-Demand)... but still.
Much love for the old Volvos. There’s a lot of aftermarket support for them too (iPD, SwedeSpeed, TruboBricks, etc.). And they’re crazy easy to work on.
Unpopular opinion: the enormous “diffuser” in the rear is unappealing.
Because you wrap it to accomplish two things:
I wish I could star you more times.
I’m a Ford guy through and through.. and this hurts, but any Ford Mustang before 2011.
I love driving as much as the next person, but he fit and finish is super important (especially if it’s your DD). Those little annoyances will get to you over time.
Yeah... sorry dude. The only Mustang from that generation worth buying is the Bullitt (and that’s only if you really want a Bullitt). It came with that 3.73:1 axle.
That’s not a let down. No one expects a CVT to be fun.
Can you imagine driving this down your favorite road one sunny Saturday and some asshat pulls out in front of you, obliterating the front end of your incredibly rare Mitsubishi? When you go through your insurance to get it repaired, the insurance company sees it as a 20 year old car and might total it out.
Cheap or not, it shouldn’t be a bodykit.
This thing screams “I’m a 2-series with a body kit!!!”
Yes. This. If they’re gonna go after a legendary name like the 911, they better come at it with a legendary name of their own.
Oooooooorrrr.....
They should have started with the 3- and 5-series GT cars.
No, but I get what you’re saying.
