Pfft. 21 ft for THAT? My ‘70 Mark III was 19.7 ft long and that shit’s a COUPE.

Like others here have said, I’d keep it, refinance and pay of it off, then sell it for a pretty penny and get whatever you want. If I ever decide to sell my Outback, that’s what I’d do too. Selling it do a dealer you will lose a lot of money because they will never give you anything close to what it’s really worth.

Such a damn shame. They’re such beautiful cars and are so fun to drive. I guess Italian cars haven’t changed at all :/

Aaaaaand the Sixteen Concept comes creeping back into mind. I don’t know how competent it was on the road (I actually don’t remember the reviews) but I do recall the V16 engine was smooth, quiet and surprisingly economical for what it was. And I mean, look at it. It’s goddamn gorgeous and vulgar as hell.

What’s a jib?

How did the 3.6R feel? I kick myself every now and then for not getting the 6 (2018 Outback Touring 2.5i owner here) but I remember it was kind of uninspiring, and surprisingly slower than my 3.5L V6 Chrysler 300 (which is a BOAT) - which is why I had a hard time justifying the extra $4,000.

I recently got a 2018 Outback with the 2.5; I gripe about its low power every now and then, but honestly it’s more than enough; I drove the 3.6R and while it was faster, I couldn’t really justify the extra $4,000. It felt slower than my 3.5L Chrysler 300, and that thing was a BOAT.

Nope, I’m with you on that. There are certain vehicles you just DO NOT deboxify, (a la 4Runner, Jeep Wrangler) because that’s how people for the most part recognize them and relate to them.

I recently bought a 2018 Outback Touring with Eyesight and all the safety gizmos that had 2,400 km on it; it was a better trim than the one I was considering at first (bare-bones Touring model) - they gave me about $8,000 off the sticker price just because it was used as a loaner for the dealership, so it wasn’t

Totally agree. Though I bought a 2018 with the CVT and the 2.5i; guess that makes me super lame. Still love it.

No love for the Outback? You can find one with the 2.5i for less than 30K brand-new. Awesome AWD system, plenty of practicality. And FUCK what Subaru is selling it as; it’s NOT a mid-size SUV or crossover or some other BULLSHIT. It’s a Legacy that’s lifted and has a tailgate; aka, a traditional stationwagon.

Call it the Ferrari FFuckiT Sport

I get what they’re going for, but that’s a stupid fucking name. It doesn’t roll off the tongue as a Ferrari name should.

I had the rare pleasure of owning a 1970 Continental Mark III a few years ago. Loved it. Loved how out of place it was anywhere; in a parking lot, on the street, on the road or highway. It had a big “fuck you, pay me” attitude, with its heavy leather bench seat, free-breathing, 7.5L V8 (drinking the finest gasoline of

Subie noob here with a silly question: the 2.5L you talk about different than the 2.5 Subaru runs in the current Outback, right? Since that’s making about 175 hp right now.

I wish you were kidding, because I can totally see it.

For the record, I always loved the classic Beetle; makes me smile every time I see one go by. Fuck this thing though. Glad it finally goes away.

It’s funny, because despite its survivability in some cases, it wasn’t a great car by any means. Based on reports from my dad’s friends who worked at Pitesti (the Dacia factory) the 1300, 1310's were rolling out with cracked engine blocks and inferior parts brand-new; but people just kept hanging on to them as there wa

That’s beautiful :O
