I’m a fan of cruises. I think I’ve gone on 4 with various companies. Both with and without kids.

The twist is that he incorporated a business out of Belize and purchased said products via business rather than personally. So the business committed the fraud and not the person.
Wouldn’t it make more sense to put seat belts in the bed of the truck?
Back up Terry!
The mechanic for that one car that requires taking the engine out to replace a $30 part.
The comment section on that Youtube video is amazingly dumb. We are so finished as a country.
Grind it up into dust and spread it around the globe. The refining process only consolidated what was already on the planet. Why not un consolidate it such that the individual decay is nothing more than background radiation?
Mohawk claims that he tried to elevate the concerns through Boeing’s internal reporting program called “Speak Up,” but that the report was eventually routed to the same managers he had complained about.
Been a Ford Maverick Hybrid owner for 10 months. It is my first hybrid vehicle and the oddly satisfying part for me is the gas mileage. I can make a 20 mile drive to a friends house up and down some sizable hills and make 50+ mpg. Going down hills the regen holds the speed to what I want. Going up hills the engine is…
Drove a car for 4 years that didn’t have AC in St. Louis humidity. If I wasn’t in my 20s at the time that probably would have killed me.

LoL. I live near Chesterfield, MO. Can confirm closed mall parking lot is being used as Tesla storage.
That mpg for the Maverick Hybrid Lariat is a head scratcher. At the very worst (driving 70 mph for 5 hours) I got 35 mpg. On my highway commute I get around 45 mpg with the occasional trip where I hit upper 50s.
You still run institutional risk. Say Elon Musk is exposed as a Russian asset or the company shutters for whatever reason presets a risk to space travel.
Put the pedal to the floor until you see angels or a checkered flag
Redundancy. Say the next falcon 9 that goes up explodes. The fleet would be ground for a year+. Without a viable alternative you’re begging Russia for a flight right at the same time you’re fighting a proxy war with Russia in Ukraine.
Sometimes you do find a diamond in the rough. A few years ago I took a trip to Maui in Hawaii. One of the touristy things to do is the road to Hana. It’s a whole day drip through some great scenery. Usually its an out and back sort of trip because the back side of the island is really rough. National rental car…
I think the point is to run long enough to ensure there isn’t any other country that runs either.
