2015 Focus and only had the Transmission Control Module die once. Needed a clutch at 90k miles-ish. Both were covered under the settlement. Car is a fun drive.

Yeah had a Focus. Left me on the road dead at about 60k miles. Transmission Control Module. Luckily it happened on the commute and not on a long trip. Since then the car has run extremely well.
My Freestyle also did well. Did what the manual said to do and never had an issue. The entire time I was worried the thing would self destruct.
Missouri legislature is also trying to change the rules on getting a constitutional amendment passed. Currently its 50% + 1 vote. They want to change it to 60/40.
Get it ready to mine just in case they decide to create an embargo. But yeah, use theirs before we use ours in earnest.
I’ll give a nod to the old gold box games from TSR.
I would like to see the same sort of event but give each side 15 minutes of practice.
Is Ford going to have an entry level vehicle for sale? With the loss of the Escape is Maverick the only thing left?
Never figured? They never cared. Top level executives get paid for profits in the last quarter not profits in the next few years. They ripped as much profit as they could and when things turn South as they always do they’ll walk away and be a top level executive in another company.
My Ford Maverick has seatbelt indicators for all 4 seats. My kids are teenagers and I don’t need to worry about them buckling up. It is a nice indicator that everyone is ready to go as I don’t pull out of the driveway until everyone is buckled. If lives can be saved for little to no discomfort to the user then why…
I feel like there is a joke to be made about going to the moon that is similar to the Seinfeld Episode with the rental car.
Mine was highway 67 in Colorado. From highway 50 to Victor. Was on a little trip with my fiancé at at the time. Went and saw the Royal Gorge bridge and decided to go back to the Bed and Breakfast a different way we came. Looked on a paper map (yes it was that long ago) and found the aforementioned route. I figured it…
Read the linked article. Driver wasn’t wearing seatbelt.
If anyone wants a Mach E just look at Bo Bueckman Ford in Missouri. They got 6 on the lot or in transit.
I just got a Ford Maverick. I kind of want some truck nuts but really small ones. Inverse projection = satire. I think it would be hilarious, wife not so much.
I grew up in a town. 10,000 people. Not sure that qualifies as small. I’m romantic for it because I was a kid of the 80s and 90s where you could go out until the streetlights came on. I bet kids everywhere in the 80s and 90s did the same and the small town has nothing to do with it.
Why not both? I think asteroid defense is a valid use of funds. At the same time I want an Apollo 11 moment. I want to see what the best and brightest can do by putting people back on the moon and staying there for a while. I want HD live streams of astronauts bouncing and bungling on the moon.
If infotainment were simply music you’d be right. But since cars started coming out with near 100% of settings being adjusted by a screen a substandard interface is a deal breaker. If you had to touch a screen to change the AC temp and the response time per press was a second you’d sell the car.
Where are these EVs? I’m looking around my area and not seeing a one. Would love a Bolt however by the time I noticed them they’re on the chopping block. Price is an issue sure, but without the option of even test driving one it is hard to justify the purchase.
My 2014 Ford Focus came with Cooper Zeon RS3-A. Tires lasted 58,000 miles and were great until the very end. Ended up getting the sameish (newer version) of the tires and love them.
