In terms of design - yes, but for quality of materials, feels like Audi has the edge on them.

They both have made higher end cars at one time or another, especially Maserati, who could be equated to Porsche, I guess, but Alfa seems pretty much in the Audi, BMW, Lexus world.

One of the ad companies I work for pitched for some Maserati business and I had a hell of a time explaining to my colleagues that the brand was cross-shopped with Audi and Porsche and not Lamborghini and Ferrari. It’s interesting how these perceptions get embedded. Great for the brand itself though.
