I was at the game yesterday. Most amazing was Ohtani’s ability to hit any speed on the radar gun, with accuracy, from 70 to 100 mph. You saw excellent pitches at 73, 74, 77, 80, 83, 88, 92, 94, 96, 98... The poor hitters just had no idea what velocity was coming. They were helpless. So impressive.
