I finished watching "Cybill" on Hulu a few days ago and think that it does hold up well. It could, with a few updates (a more diverse cast, etc.) be televised today. The core topics of Hollywood's ageism and sexism are even more in the news today.
I liked this quiet ending. . I think it's time for Oliver's leadership and management skills to be tested on a variety of fronts. He's matured a lot since the first season.
I loved this episode. I love this show and I love the love for this show.
I am less and less a fan of Jane because she is written as self-righteous, stubborn, possessing selective compassion, and unwilling to admit where she contributes to misunderstandings between herself and other characters. I become bored with "perfect" characters.
That wasn't rape. They're consenting adults. It WAS deception and I hope that Rafe figures it out in decent time in Season Three.
I think that we can depend upon The Swallow out-thinking and out-planning the Cersei, et. al.
She's certainly never had a man who saw her value her for what she is. Of course she'd mistake lust for aggression.
I don't think that's it. She's a sworn sword who commits fully to her lords or ladies. Sigh. Yeah.

That's right. I conflated.

Thanks!
Oh, dear. Thanks! Now to find where I read that …
NBC should have kept "Telenovela" and cancelled "Sleepy Hollow"—as much as I love the idea of SH, the story lines and execution have gone down hill. The valiant actors work so hard though.
One of the best things that Owen and Amelia have going for them is that they are each aware of their triggers and are able to talk to each other about them. They're able to discuss rules of engagement to make their relationship work in a way that Owen and Christina never were. Their survival of their traumas also make…
I'm sorry we're losing Penny. She's a strong, quiet, confident presence on the team. Callie was both sad and sulking through the entire episode.
It was war. A very personal war, whatever Andy Diggle might have said about it being needed. Andy and Darhk were set on killing Diggle's entire family. It was self-defense and a necessary self-defense.
