Existential horror and space:Two of my favorite things! Steven essentially killing Eyeball dovetails nicely with the reveal of Rose definitely shattering Pink Diamond. I also liked the use of "Love Like You" in the montage of Steven being rescued, like the end of "Rose Scabbard." Except the gems are now opening up…

The nature in which Bismuth was introduced was kind of arbitrary. What kept Steven from discovering Bismuth a lot sooner? It seemed they were saving the reveal for a special occasion, but it worked well enough as a special episode.
