I guess that's what I am trying to figure out.
I guess that's what I am trying to figure out.
I might be.
I wish. Not affiliated with Quicken. Just scratching my head. Do you have a mortgage (or ever had one), or are you in this discussion over yer head?
Again, poor appraisal and person got sick and couldn't make payments? The whole thing is shady, and if that's what is being used to define "predatory," it's a stretch.
Exactly. Well stated. It's what I was trying to say with my original point about lobbing out "predatory" in a piece about Dan Gilbert with respect to a Yahoo sports article.
But, one clouded story about a person who had a bad appraisal and got sick and couldn't make the payments makes me think that is not a true predatory situation.
I do not. I'm an architect.
I didn't actually. And, the local banks didn't even try to crank the numbers like Quicken did. Since Quicken reached out to me, I said I wouldn't pay any additional closing costs. I didn't. AND, I got rid of PMI. My mortgage was reduced by $200/ month. I told them if this didn't happen, I was out.
I was just reporting my experience. When I saw that in the article I scratched my head. If you look at the articles that come up when googling this, they have some pretty unique circumstances and oddities.
Simply point me to an article that isn't clouded in controversy. Otherwise, beat it because I'm asking a fair question. The comment about predatory lending does not fit with this article. Let's just bash everything and anything.
I googled and the stories were 2, 3, and 4 years old and clouded in controversy. Show me the facts is all I was asking.
I won't defend Corporate America, but I have to ask for some recent evidence showing Quicken Loans is predatory.
Still costs too much with those features. I'd still go Silverado.
Interesting, but Life Lesson time, kiddos. Don't fucking cheat.
Yup. Fucked priorities. And fucked in the head adults.
If you ain't cheatin', you ain't tryin'.
I've got young kids too... good point. You bring yer People McNuggets to a restaurant, you tip 20%. Period. No, Ifs, Ands, or Butts.
So? Yes, that's what you do. Someone is waiting on you. You know what? With that attitude, there's no doubt in my mind that you will continue to receive "bad" service... it's all about perspective. Those folks do not exist to fan you with palm leaves and feed you grapes. Good luck out there, homey.
Yer allowed a free pass every so often.
It's a good point; They take care of you, so take care of them, and then you will be taken care of always.
