Torch, your brain is something special! To take such a rational argument and add the ZZ Top exemption, utterly brilliant!

Was hoping for this. Thank you.

Obvious question, how did this not happen in Florida? I mean, yeah, Texas does have its share of...unique citizens, but this should totally be a Florida story.

Oh well THAT makes it completely acceptable.

This! Every single freaking bit of this! God bless you and your wonderfully quirky mind, Torch!

Bloody awesome! Now maybe all the Defender defenders you pissed off will realize that getting all shouty with you won’t matter...because you’re famous!

Oh I’ve owned a few, starting with a ‘78 SJ Cherokee S, and I get it. Doesn’t change the fact that David clearly has issues, lol!

Dude! Me thinks you have some issues.

To paraphrase a comment on Deadspin’s post. Thank you for continuing to operate. How else could I complain about Kinja? Seriously, fuck Terry B right in the ear.

Graduated from college, and was working in sales for a pager company in San Diego (yes, I am old) while looking for a job in my intended career field. I had acquired my first “nice” car post-college, an 8 year old 1986 Mazda 626 GT 5 door with everything, including the auto-adjusting suspension, the oscillating AC

Just had a friend point out that the CH-53 Super Stallion/MH-53 Sea Stallion helo wasn’t on the poster. The CH-53D was retired in 2012, but they are still flying Pave Low CSAR variants and they have the MH-53E Sea Dragon in squadron use currently.

A T6 is at the top of my list when I get a new car (hopefully) next year. Would love a T8, but I don’t know if the budget will support it.

Simply awesome! Thanks for sharing!

Personally, I always thought it was closer to a Rolls. Agreed, that the headlights are closer to Bentley than Rolls (unless you go back to the Silver Spirit era), but that greenhouse and body just scream Phantom.

Gold bars go in the trunk. Weight distribution. Otherwise, under the hood it’s a V12 or a rotary with turbos, dead bodies, and missiles/guns!

Gotta say, I was thinking exactly the same thing.

I have loved the seat ventilators in a couple of my cars (Grand Cherokee, Lincoln MKZ), and am a firm believer in the 2nd law of thermodynamics (give your balls some air). Knowing that automakers have plumbed HVAC vents into the rear seat area, there is no reason why automakers can’t put vents below the steering

Fortunately, I do follow you on Twitter, so I will be eagerly awaiting the trip updates, breakdown/towing updates, and Virginny jailbreak scenarios! By now I’m sure Google Maps default searches for Aston and Carmax dealers along any route you program, so you should be safe. But better take that Yamaha mower just to be

Lock him in the convention hall after hours, and he has to figure out how to survive by living off the swag in the various “tradeshow” booths. If there are weapons, he can defend himself against roving security guards. Bonus points for filming video of himself rolling thru the halls, a la the dudes who shot video of

It looks great and I have such a weird love for the VehiCROSS, but even as rare as that it, $13,500 is CP all day long.
