Sad commentary on our society.

Oh yeah, they did a fantastic job on that one. Were it my petrodollars, I’d like to see a darker color. I remember seeing the 599 in both a Bordeaux and a dark metallic grey, and thinking that the darker colors really classed it up. One of those, or even a BRG finish would be my choice, but Touring has been doing some

Thanks. Thought the badge looked like an AM, but the front clip looked a lot more Italian, so the Bertone lineage makes sense. Gorgeous car!

I nominate this entire thread for #COTD. Allan Sherman FTW!!

Completely agree. As a wrenching noob and idiot (go me!!), I am very appreciative of hearing stories like this. They give me hope. Plus, awesome truck!

#10. OMFG this is simply brilliant! Torch, please don’t ever let anyone change you!

This may be the most telling element of this whole discussion. I’ve thought about a used RR Sport, but feel that the Land Cruiser (or Lexus LX or GX) would make for a much more reliable alternative. And frankly, the 200 series LC and LX have pretty swanky interiors, but they do have parts bin controls. Not quite the
