Back in the 90s, I vaguely remember something called the Alpine Slide (or something like that) somewhere in the vicinity of Estes Park, Colorado. Seemed insanely fun, similar concept but not nearly the turns. More of a dry water slide on sleds. No idea if it’s still around (or if that even was where it was).

Completely agree. They are supremely capable vehicles, and why not highlight that capability. The entire Land Cruiser line (at least in the US) is effectively a limited edition, so why not offer the badass version?
