"Lemouth". That is a better name than "spindle grill", IMO.

The coaster was pretty cool, but yeah, the rest of it was pretty much a let down.

I rode it 3 years ago. Totally dug it.

Hell, Al Gore's kid got busted in Orange County, CA for doing 103 mph in a Prius. He had the fastest low carbon footprint of anyone!

Completely with you on that one! Love those old brochures!

The fact that you put Antique Plates on a Tempo is simply epic! Bravo!

Agreed. Up until my mom's first Taurus wagon in '88, my parents always spec-ordered their cars from the dealership. Since then, it's always been whatever the dealer has in stock or can trade for from another dealership. I'm hoping when we replace my wife's 328i we can spec order it and do the Euro delivery.

Agreed. The one thing missing from the new GT350 is the lower stripe/logo along the doors.

I like the tech, and there's no denying the "clean" aesthetic of the Audi design. Unfortunately, those rectilinear shapes combined with that shifter "knob" only makes me think of this early 90s Chevy Lumina dash. I just can't unsee it.

My only complaint is that they didn't include the "GT 350" stripe along the lower door.

I did not expect to say this, but I kinda like it. Even in the two-tone.

I'm liking the idea of an A6 Allroad or an XC70. Not the full on CUV/SUV (little more Jalop), yet still high end enough to handle the "meet the client" role. Here's an Allroad in Glendale for $7k (leaving some budget for the inevitable repairs...it ain't at Carmax!)

Right there with you!

Could not agree more.

Completely agree!

This is still my favorite uphill sand drag video. That this guy had the presence of mind to crank the wheels and goose the throttle when he did...insanity!

These articles are awesome! Keep them coming!

So can anyone explain exactly what the difference is (besides badging) between the V60 Cross Country and the XC60? As an SUV (fine, CUV), the XC doesn't seem particularly high-riding. Is it still higher than the Cross Country V60 will be?

First thought was it could have been something straight out of a Gemballa catalog, looking oh so 80s. Appropriate since the Medusa was introduced in 1980.

Oh I remember those press shots...always thought that looked gorgeous at the time. Must have been all the cocaine my 16 year old self was doing in between episodes of Miami Vice.
