Honestly, this car in black would negate all the wild angles and trim accents. Add some black window tint, and it would look less extreme and more sleeper, then I’d want to drive it.

AGREED. I had an FR-S. Loved it. It was slow. Then traded it in for a WRX which was less expensive LOL WUT??! But then ultimately, got rid of that also because it wasn’t as fun to drive, so both were fail zone in the end.
Another potential “misses” is the high compression of this engine from the factory. Like the FR-S/GT 86, the compression being high make it hard to safely tune/increase boost without creating engine knock, and other possible catastrophic problems. Highly strung engines that are already at the height of their limits…
