Just ordered a 2018 Polo GTI. Brand new model for this year. It’s now bigger or as big as a golf 4 from early 2000’s. It’s 7cm wider and 10cm longer than the outgoing model. Only comes as a 5 door from now on. It’s gonna be a long 4 months wait. Going to be paying 38k€ including winter tires and alloys. I ordered it…
Probably not. I don’t now why but maybe something to do with the era. 205 gti was one of the first gti’s. This kind of wasn’t but a really great car in all respects.. apart from power.
I had a 1st gen Yaris T-sport. 2002 if I remember right. A whipping 105hp!
I thought I read just recently that they were going to badge next seasons car as a GTI because of something something market possibly being able to relate more to the GTI than “R” in terms of speed or something... something. I don’t know, I just wanted an excuse to post a picture of mine, again.

Yeah manual would have been my choice too but -not so fun fact- they don’t bring it to Finland. They only bring the 4d too, strangely. Pretty happy with the dsg I have to say. Wanted the manual mainly for the 70Nm extra torque. The dsg does manage the same 0-60 time but 320Nm of torque in a car this size would have…
This is the new one so it’s 1.8t. Much more reliable. Other than blowing it’s turbo after 6000km.
