Has he straight up contributed money toward homophobic causes?” Hard to say for certain since I don’t believe that you would have to disclose that sort of donation to the general public, but he goes to a pretty hardline homophobic church, and most churches ask for donations, and he certainly has money to spare if he

So fun fact: the worst piece of journalism that I have ever seen (I don’t look at right wing sources very often, so there is probably worse out there) was in my university’s student newspaper. They ran a puff piece about our school’s chapter of Turning Point, saying that it was a politically neutral place for students

This is simultaneously creepy and adorable.

This has been a pretty good year, financially speaking, for anime movies based off of TV shows. My Hero Academia: Heroes Rising actually was number four at the American box office at one point, and this was before Covid shut everything down, so the theater environment was pretty normal at that point, too.

Yeah. I had pretty much the exact same response.

I don’t, and it’s mainly because I just hate the idea of a game subscription service. I like to own games so I can play them at my leisure. I don’t like the idea of playing through a game, and some company has the ability to yank my access to it at any time. It’s something that has zero appeal to me.

Two major incidents: I lost all of my save data for all of my Gamecube games once when my main memory card catastrophically failed. That was a massively annoying experience.

I’m also quite fond of “’Cause It’s French” from the Brows Held High’s review of Jean Cocteau’s Beauty and the Beast. That whole video is filled with great parodies of songs from the Disney film.

This looks promising.

A couple years back, I was purchasing something at a store with my Dad next to me. When the cashier rung up my order, she asked if I wanted to donate towards Autism Speaks. My extremely quick and rather harsh refusal (I didn’t curse at her or anything, but my tone of voice wasn’t exactly pleasant) quickly prompted my

Oh, how I do despise that episode.

I’ve been catching up on some classic JRPG’s because I didn’t play RPG’s much as a kid besides the Paper Mario Games; Mario and Luigi games; the Gamecube Pokemon games; and that one terrible Sonic RPG made by Bioware.

I somewhat agree, but I think that he is somewhat resigned that he will never achieve that universally, so he has settled for pandering to his base while getting as much negative attention as he can. Because any attention is better than no attention in his eyes.

It’s a lot like the last four years, but with a lot more dramatic slow motion shots and less color. Also, it’s revealed that Trump is just a puppet for Darkside.

While he may be an amoral jerk, he’s at least an amoral jerk that wants everyone to like him. And he’s also competent. A Lex Luthor presidency would have some atrocities, sure, but he’d also do some good things, probably, if only to keep up appearances.

The Haunted Mansion in particular is amazing. I know how most of the visual tricks are done, and I’m still impressed every time I go on it. And the details and just overall look of the ride is amazing.

Most movie theaters are pretty unpleasant. I found a good one near me right before the pandemic hit (I had just moved right before the pandemic), but they generally aren’t worth the time and effort unless they offer an experience that you can’t get at home.

Am I the only one who hates Batman Returns? It’s just simultaneously completely ridiculous while being unpleasantly dark. Like, I can accept a film where The Penguin is raised by sewer penguins and then trains those penguins as an army to take over Gotham, and I can accept a film where The Penguin bites someone’s nose

It’s rarely the focus, but there are mutants who have useless powers. Or mutations that are detrimental. Rogue’s powers definitely have their advantages, but she can’t touch another human being without hurting them. There’s a character called Beak who just looks like a bird. He can’t even fly or anything; he looks

This feels like it was written by an edgy teenager who thinks that any ride that isn’t a roller coaster automatically sucks.
