This has been a pretty good year, financially speaking, for anime movies based off of TV shows. My Hero Academia: Heroes Rising actually was number four at the American box office at one point, and this was before Covid shut everything down, so the theater environment was pretty normal at that point, too.

I don’t, and it’s mainly because I just hate the idea of a game subscription service. I like to own games so I can play them at my leisure. I don’t like the idea of playing through a game, and some company has the ability to yank my access to it at any time. It’s something that has zero appeal to me.

I’ve been catching up on some classic JRPG’s because I didn’t play RPG’s much as a kid besides the Paper Mario Games; Mario and Luigi games; the Gamecube Pokemon games; and that one terrible Sonic RPG made by Bioware.

I somewhat agree, but I think that he is somewhat resigned that he will never achieve that universally, so he has settled for pandering to his base while getting as much negative attention as he can. Because any attention is better than no attention in his eyes.

It’s a lot like the last four years, but with a lot more dramatic slow motion shots and less color. Also, it’s revealed that Trump is just a puppet for Darkside.

While he may be an amoral jerk, he’s at least an amoral jerk that wants everyone to like him. And he’s also competent. A Lex Luthor presidency would have some atrocities, sure, but he’d also do some good things, probably, if only to keep up appearances.

The Haunted Mansion in particular is amazing. I know how most of the visual tricks are done, and I’m still impressed every time I go on it. And the details and just overall look of the ride is amazing.

Most movie theaters are pretty unpleasant. I found a good one near me right before the pandemic hit (I had just moved right before the pandemic), but they generally aren’t worth the time and effort unless they offer an experience that you can’t get at home.
