This is a hard one, the airlines felt they were doing the right thing for their shareholders which is sort of what a business is supposed to do (as long as its ethical). But they know that there could be a global recession or other impact event and didn’t hold reserves. Even if they did I don’t know if it would have…
Airport workers just aren’t showing up for their shifts. And probably rightly so, since the higher ups are just fucking morons. There is incompetence everywhere and this virus is exposing it all. Employees coming in contact with possibly sick passengers without protective gear?
“boat that needs frequent trailering”
That is not a need. That is a choice.
Lol, the fuck?
Agreed. It’s just so sad to read about people with such poor financial acumen that this kind of dealer behavior even exists. As a society, we do a terrible job of educating people about money/credit/savings, etc. I suppose it’s one of the main reasons poor people tend to stay poor.
A birth certificate and 10 minutes at the Post Office gets you a passport. And then you have a passport. To get a RealID, you need seventeen forms of documentation and hours at the DMV. And then you have a slightly more useful drivers license. Kind of a no brainer to me.
Fourty two thousand dollars,,, for an automatic, fwd, sub-250hp hatchback....
I don’t recline, but you are wrong. As long as its a feature, no one is a monster for using it.
As he is in the last row, which typically has zero recline, he most likely opted for the absolute cheapest flight cost possible. You get what you pay for.
Some of us can’t plug in when we get home
OK, we get it. These fuckers are fast. Still not buying until refuel is as convenient as gas. Please make that happen and I’m in.
It’s a tractor trailer.
Naw, this is the teaser for the trailer. The teaser for the teaser came out last week.
well, I’m a little surprised this didn’t have the three-second trailer (coming up in this trailer!) summary that’s often before trailers, which would indeed make that a trailer for a trailer for a trailer. Only a matter of time.
There’s a decent chance that trailer for a trailer cost over six digits to produce. Despite my crappy headphones, I’m pretty sure most of that was spent on bass.
Kristin linked to a report on ALPR’s. I summarized it in another post; but if you can’t find that read the report. It notes that the documented societal benefits are minimal and the costs to society (which are documented) are severe. And that was before addressing privacy concerns.
Simplifying police work and making it easier to catch criminals is NEVER a satisfactory reason to trample rights and generally harass a law abiding public.
Due to some unfortunate life events, my wife and I went through a rough financial patch lasting a half decade or so. During that time, we procured a vehicle with the assistance of my step-father, it was in his name only. Nothing fancy, a Dodge Caravan I got for a good deal because it was 1 year old and had 45k on it…
