I finally started House of Leaves. I picked it up a few years ago, but just have never gotten around to reading it. I'm about 50 pages in and I'm enjoying it so far.

I had to Google that. I never watched this show.

Hanging out with Jared Leto's Joker sounds like it was awful

I don't know why I've always had a natural dislike of this guy. So much so that my favorite part of Fight Club is when his face gets beaten to a pulp.

"Choppernewt and Dave Ahdoot / One is bald, the other hirsuit."

That's the first line of the theme song for your multi-camera sitcom show premiering exclusively on SEE SO.

I was sold as soon as I saw it was written by the guy that wrote Kiss Me Deadly. Must check this one out.

I haven't seen this movie, but apparently the real Rocky Dennis lived in my hometown and went to the same middle school I did, albeit about a decade before I attended.

True story: my brother named his son Miles in honor of Miles Mayhem.

…I didn't say it was an interesting story.

"What about the boy? What about the boy? He saw it all!"

No shit. I think I actually was more excited to see Clancy Brown than anyone else in that trailer. Maybe it was just 'cause I new most of the other names were attached, and he's always a great presence in a movie.

And see, college seems like the perfect time to watch Dr. Strangelove. I sought it out in HS after we watched Failsafe in history. The teacher told us that another movie had been adapted from the same book, but it was a comedy - so I had to check it out.

Perhaps I built it up too much. Perhaps if I hadn't had said it was a comedy and just let it play. Oh well.

And don't forget that rogue-ish wildcard, the trivet! Will he give in to his greed, or will follow what he knows to be true and fight for the side of valor?

I really should have been more forceful, but I'm a pretty mild-mannered guy and calling them morons was the most I could muster. Assertiveness is a quality I tend to lack.

So, when a couple of years later I saw the episode of Freaks & Geeks where Sam takes what's-her-name to see The Jerk and she doesn't find it funny

My freshman year at college, a group of us got together and decided to rent some Halloween-themed movies. My choice was Young Frankenstein. So we got that and some other horror movies. We kept to older classics because the girls we were trying to impress didn't want any slashers or real bloody stuff. I explained

Thank you for sharing this, not that I understand a thing about programming, but I find it fascinating how all this stuff was developed. I am definitely going to check out that book.

I've caught a few episodes of this when I can't sleep. I think USA or TNT would show it in the wee hours of the morning. Her character is the worst. And yet, I still took the time to read this article.

Ooh, I hope they feature You Can't Do That on Television. "Who do you think's in the burgers?"

Yeah, the vast majority of the chili I've had is with beans. And it makes sense because it's far cheaper to put in a few cans of beans into a chili recipe than to add an equal amount of meat.

Skyline! Yes, that's the name of the chain. I couldn't remember for the life of me and I was too lazy to go looking for it.

Well, according to the vast amounts of Food Network I watched when I was unemployed, chili purists insist that true chili does not have beans. Apparently, for many chili cook-offs, the judging is done on beanless chili, but they do allow the contestants to sell chili with beans to the attendees (the beans essentially
