Best episode of "I Love Lucy" ever, man!
Best episode of "I Love Lucy" ever, man!
I mostly posted my remark because it's a lyric from a Spinal Tap song. Definitely a juvenile way to put it, but yeah, skinny ain't the same as sexy.
Was that the one where Marge has a vision of Catholic Heaven vs. Protestant Heaven?
"The bigger the cushion, the sweeter the pushin'."
Oh, I saw that pointed out in the comments. I am definitely a fan of Dante's work and wish he would make more movies.
I'm sure that someone has already brought this up in the comments, but didn't Dante remake an episode of the Twilight Zone for the movie? It's not like he adapted a shorter work into a full-length picture - he re-made the episode.
Only if she sings an update of The Who's "Magic Bus"

"Wear the eye-patch Bret! Wear the funky, funky eye-patch!"
Yeah, also the old Speak and Spell things.
This is a wonderful song. My personal favorite is Jemaine's robotic plea: "Can't we talk to the humans. A little understanding could make things better." His robot voice is definitely superior to Bret's.

This article is pretty damn sexy.
Oh man, this is one of the few movies we had on VHS when I was growing up and I watched this at least 20 times - taped off of HBO. Loved it. I remember seeing Ferris Bueller after watching this and thinking that I preferred him in this. Lightman just seemed like a more realistic kind of smartass than Ferris.
And…
This is the plot to Portnoy's Complaint, right?
I will definitely check out these bands if you put them up there with Deadly Snakes.
The first of their's I heard was 'Ode to Joy' - it was playing at Amoeba in Hollywood and it was like the Beta Band scene in High Fidelity - I just had to buy it immediately. The same thing happened at a later visit when they were playing Eddie and the Hotrods.
Back to Deadly Snakes: I've got their 4 albums and love…
Good list, but needs more Deadly Snakes. Simply a fantastic garage band.
"Girl you're so groovy, a-ha-ha-ha!"
I don't know. But I'll admit that when they put on their 8-hour block of Parks & Rec, that is where I'll tune my cable box to. So, I'm doing my part, the only way I know how.
