I'm gonna go out on a whim and share a highly subjective personal story:
I live in Austin too! Take me with you!
It's the Taurus more so.
Where did this twin-turbo 3.0 liter V6 come from? Is it the same thing from the C400? Am I ignorant for assuming the C400 had a 4.0L V6?
Actually the Z4 //M Coupe is more common than the clownshoe.
God bless this car.
There are so many of these in Austin. And by "so many" I mean I routinely see the same three. One is yellow with 33's.
Lol the "expand" option makes that gif titled "me hug you."
The seriously redeeming quality of the Avalon is its ability to eat highway miles. The long wheelbase makes the road non-existent. Terribly, terribly boring car though.
How does this appeal to a different market than the GLA45?
I feel like this is typically a misunderstood idea. If Ford can manage to keep their average mileage throughout their overall portfolio high enough and carbon footprint low enough, they can afford to build cars like this every couple years. Same with the 7.0L Z/28. I don't think carmakers will ever lose the ability to…
I have quite the erection and only one question:
This is just every standard high schooler's GTI 1.8T modification slapped onto a Beetle with RUF aesthetic mods. Why?
That looks like french fries covered in marshmellows and maple syrup.
I was about to post almost an identical picture. Were you in Georgia for The High Museum exhibit on concept cars?
I saw this car in Georgia this summer at The High Museum of Art! It is FANTASTICALLY low-slung and bizarrely proportioned in person. It was only directly next to a Lancia Stratos Bertone, so it was hard to get a feel for it at all. Here's a picture.
