I'm left wondering whether missing a note on the guitar affects the sound of the song at all?

@jh.dale: As far as the Apple tax goes, I think the Bamboo was $69 before, and cut the price recently, presumably in response to the Magic Trackpad. I could be wrong, but when I was looking at an older article (from a year ago, I think) just recently, it said the touch only and the pen only tablets were both $69,

@wickedcupofjoe: Yeah, I just made most of my friends in high school when I was pretty boring, listening to rap with 2 10" subs in the trunk (ugh).

@phynx: I noticed on Handcent's board that someone said they had talked to the developer and he is able to send messages with Google Voice in a test build, but is having trouble receiving them and so it won't be implemented until that can be fixed. Unfortunate because I would love to be able to use this for Google

@wickedcupofjoe: I've somehow ended up with a lot of boring friends in regards to books, movies and music. I wish Facebook was more consistent for me :\

Interesting. I've always had trouble finding good places to find recommendations of books. It's easier with movies and TV shows because it only takes a couple hours of commitment, so a bad recommendation is no big deal. I read slow, so it takes many hours to really know if a book is worthwhile, so I tend to end up

@Adam Pash: Sorry, I was grumpy and trolling this morning.

@GldRush98: "Download LED Light to turn your iPhone's LED flash into a flashlight. It's amazingly magical and truly spectacular."

I feel like this is an announcement worthy of a twitter feed, not a full article.

I chrome to phoned this to watch the video.

@Zanzan42: I set it to change every other letter in my emails to frownies

@Deoki: I have to use Outlook for work :\

@Shadow-Lurker: What is the sound leaking out of open headphones like? As in what the other people would hear of my music. I always worried about it leaking too much noise and being a disturbance to my co-workers, which stopped me from buying open headphones. I don't really have a clue what it's like, though.

I'm so glad we have a sandwich press at work, along with free meats, cheese, breads and most anything else you'd want on a pressed sandwich for lunch.

Hmm, the 500 Days of Summer soundtrack and Dark Tranquility in the same collection? That's quite the variety.

LaBute made some fairly good movies with "The Shape of Things" and "In the Company of Men," but he's really gone down hill lately with re-making "The Wicker Man" and now remaking "Death at a Funeral," apparently just to feature an all black, American cast while only 3 years removed from the original.

ugh. Maybe I'll get some Steve Vai just for the shredding, and Of Montreal is pretty good, but other than that I couldn't care less. I hope more of the less known bands I like get in on this, though.

I always prefer subtitles for movies, but never really thought about it for games. I guess I don't really play too many games that feature strong, non-American characters. I'm probably going to try switching to subtitles for Heavy Rain, although the difference is also largely the amount of time spent playing a game,

As long as they aren't pausing the game for 30 second ad breaks or something else obtrusive like that, I'm all for it. I remember some of my friends getting mad when they found out NHL 10 (or maybe back to 08 or 09) was going to have dynamic ad content on the boards. It made no sense to me that they didn't like it,

I could never get into talking online, I've always felt so awkward while doing so. I might have to change my ways for this, though, because I'd love to play a shooter so focused on strategy (I missed out on SOCOM because I didn't have a PS2)
