Yeah, I've got a terminal case.

Actually, she hates one-sided conversations and is coming to accept the idea that she doesn't have to constantly give me attention like I'm a puppy, or something.

Oh, OK.

My GF is actually cool about dating an introvert.

"Are you mad?"
"No."
"You seem pretty upset."
"I'm really OK."
"You're just sitting there not saying anything."
"I don't really have anything to say right this second."

You and I were thinking the same thing. "Discothéque" actually gave me hope… but yeah… life happened.

It's got a few moments of greatness ("Cedars" / "White as Snow") but mostly comes across as the band in a creative rut, throwing out U2 pastiche ("Magnificent"), pathetic Dad Rock ("Unknown Caller" allllllll the way through "Stand Up Comedy") or songs that just don't go anywhere ("Breathe").

That interview was magnificent. I'd love to see him come in for another one.

"But [Lance Henriksen] could run the gamut from being the funniest guy you ever heard to one of the moodiest, that you’d just stay away from. But a riveting actor. "
