I'm waiting for the MegaHateSong for every single from Cracked Rear View.

Wait, Danny Boyle and Rudy Giuliani are the same person?

There are only two albums, and a bunch of really good '90s DJ / Queen remixes that update the sound a bit but leave the tracks basically intact.

I don't think MBG spawned any hits, though a remix of "Living on My Own"  did reach #1 in multiple countries in the early '90s.

It's safe to say that MBG finally found an audience through reissues and ubiquitous presence in Freddie Mercury / Queen retrospectives.

Maybe I'm too much of a fan to be that objective, but Mr. Bad Guy is actually a pretty good bit of mid-'80s dance music. The song and video for Living on My Own forever preserves the moment in amber.

Truth is stranger than fiction:

Me: "Herzy, where's Pizza Hut?"

If you love Fizcarraldo and find Burden of Dreams  to be utterly amazing, you really should check out Herzog's published diaries from that period. You'll find them conveniently packaged in a book with the most Herzogian title of them all - Conquest of the Useless.

There's nothing better than hearing a woman say "I love New Order!"

The following movie has been formatted to fit your screen, edited for content and edited to run in the time allotted.

Did you ever watch TLC when it was The Learning Channel and ran continuing ed programming for doctors in the middle of the day?

"You're actually watching Live Free or Die Hard? OK, here's a literally endless list of other shit you could be doing instead."

And so it begins…

I'm not entirely sure Terry Gilliam has enough luck to successfully eat breakfast.

Speaking of Dan Harmon…

It pretty much goes without saying, but I feel like my horizons would have been much broader had the technology and culture of the mid-to-late '90s had been closer to what we have now.
