Your post is like honey. You can't buy it with money.

The AVClub is not Google. That's what it stands for.

Regarding "Conspiracy":

Because it's not Evil MacGyver. The characters all change dramatically over time.

Great news! This means that the AVClub editors can pencil-in the writing assignments for next summer - when AMC has found some completely absurd ways to destroy their new shows.

And on top of that, he didn't TELL ANYBODY about it. It leaked eventually, but it was anything but a PR stunt on his part. Gotta respect a man for that.

I meant the first Mr. Bean film. It had a "Mid 90s, Generic Comedy" feel about it.

The article nails it
The biggest problem with the film is that it's so conventional. It feels like the character was forced into a generic comedy script they had sitting on the shelf. When you take a character from a loosely-structured format, and put them in a conventional, strict, 3-act structure, there needs to be

I love Dave, but…
Dude needs to chill out, get over his victim complex and stop going off on pissy, public tangents every time the audience to his ArtTM behaves in a way that displeases him.

Dave needs to chill out
I love Dave Chappelle's work, and by all accounts he's a great guy off-stage, but he's seemingly permanently angsty about the fact people might actually enjoy his work / why they're enjoying it / how they're enjoying it.

The Walking Dead wasn't true to itself in Season 1

Some of the music from the earlier adaptation ended up as a B-Side to U2's single "The Fly": http://www.youtube.com/watc…

Upselling is annoying, but at most stores you can upsell and get rewarded for it. At Borders they would punish anyone who actually succeeded at it, as their regulars would get cards and immediately destroy their signup numbers from then on. They legitimately had no concept of market saturation. Success was failure,

Borders Math
I got threatened on a daily basis for not signing up enough customers for the Borders Rewards program. There was some double-digit percentage target that I had to meet.

Robb,

"Land" by Patti Smith in the 2nd season finale of Millennium
Used in its entirety for a 9:46 long montage chronicling a complete mental breakdown.

Might be a good thing
My reactions:

NOT "Tin Roof Rusted - 3D"?
I've never been so disappointed with the discrepancy between an AVClub headline and the subject of an article.

I can't get over the feeling of foreboding in that song. Even if you didn't know John Lennon was working on it the night he died, you'd still think it was unsettling as hell.

InstantWatcher.com is probably the best way to find something to stream on Netflix. The in-house UI is lame, the sorting mechanism is kinda broken, and the Xbox UI is hit or miss at best.
