Whoever came up with “miracle” as a stand-in for “body-horror nightmare” deserves a Nobel Prize for euphemism.

Poor thing has watched Big Bang Theory for so long, he’s forgotten what jokes look like. 

I don’t, and I wish I did, because whoever wrote that joke deserves attribution.
