To be fair, if the corner market is out of cigarettes, something has gone terribly wrong. I’ve been through some fuel shortages and storms and runs on canned goods and bottled water, but I’ve never seen the stores out of cigarettes.

You might be taking that star back, depending on how you feel about these things.

I saw the headline and came here to make a joke about how it was going to be about the dog. I dunno, Air Beast or something equally lazy, but looks like Fox already has it covered.

I remember that sketch. It’s good, and that’s coming from someone who’s not crazy about stop-motion in general and Robot Chicken specifically. 

A lot of companies operate at a loss in the early going, with the expectation that once they build enough of a customer base profits will follow. The expenses of Netflix’s streaming library (rights, servers, etc.) probably weren’t offset for a while, but the model was sound, obviously, upon reaching a certain number

I get it. That one doesn’t bother me personally, but there are plenty of phrases and usages that bug the hell out me.

The problem is that it’s used so often to imply far more than it means. Especially when it’s used as a noun, people use it to imply, say, proximity or similar social standing (here both are implied).

Until The Middle life crisis, then it’s back to Jimmy in a vain attempt to recapture bygone youth. 

Dude, “white male” is not the preferred nomenclature. “Real American,” please.

Anyone got video of the set itself? There are few things more delicious than a comic bombing who fucking deserves it. 

I didn’t get the feeling that it was supposed to be that emotionally affecting (certainly not like seeing Bubbles eating dinner with his sister or something like that). Rather, it was a way to put a button on how far the characters have come—from the excitement and optimism they felt thinking that they and everyone

Maybe a decade from now, studios will be looking for bold voices who weren’t swayed by the impossible quest for perfect adherence to a nebulous and constantly changing set of moral standards, and you’ll be fired for not offering a summary right here.

I’ve never met anyone (and I’m including the review comment sections on this site) for whom that was the case.
