It really wasn’t. If it had been, existing law and precedent would have been sufficient to rule against Thicke/Williams.

The new Sicario is dreadful. I was expecting a shift like from the first Bourne movie to the second, away from suspense and into pure action, but this was a mess.

The only movies I’ve seen this year that I truly lived were Death of Stalin and Upgrade, though there are a couple on the indie list that I really want to see that just didn’t get released conveniently near to me. 

I loved Death of Stalin and thought it was very funny. I’ve been burned out on the Apatow formula for a long time, so I also found it refreshing to see a movie where the humor derives promarily from character and situation. Some really nice sight gags as well. I also really like the idea of setting what is essentially

I’m fine with re-watching. Hell, most of my viewing these days IS re-watching, but if a show doesn’t offer up any enjoyment the first time through, like hell am I gonna watch it again.
