Adilyn is a halfling too, no? Andy the human is still her father. She's just much closer to faerie than Sookie is. I like Adilyn and I like the storyline Jess seems to be having with her, so I'm not going to get mad at her (I could do without Holly's sons, though). Her faerie powers will come into play later, I'm

10) R.I.P., Gay Vampire Matt. You truly were the most underated tertiary character on this show.

Faced with the possibility of two seasons of fairy babies, I'm all for the absurdly fast growth with matching social and emotional development.

The writing for Bonnie has always kind of sucked, but I would still like more of her (mostly because Kat Graham is magic). Agree about everything else, though (plus the last season really fucked up long-term planning which was a huge part of what made the previous seasons so great).

There is an interview with a writer for this show on AfterEllen linked somewhere in the comments here where they talk about this, actually. Adilyn was originally supposed to be gay, but the idea was scrapped for reasons. Some writers are still writing their relationship that way even though they can't do more than

Plus a Showgirls reference

A supernatural reboot of Sex and the City. The leads are Pam, Nan, Katherine from TVD and Vanessa Ives of Penny Dreadful.

Shared actors can relate basically any American show to any other American show. True Blood mostly leaves the love triangles alone or makes them strongly one-sided whereas on The Vampire Diaries, they are central to the show. Plot arcs dissolving into nothing hasn't been a thing on TVD until recently.

The only thing the shows have in common is that they both feature vampires.

I was distracted trying to remember if we met Sylvie before or if she's just another sexy brunette chick they threw in for no discernible reason (see also: Nora, Violet, Willa) (I actually sort of like Willa, though).

At least we get the French vagina jokes out of it

The writing for Violet and Jason is particularly insane. It's like the worst piece of erotic fanfic ever written.

It's a logical conclusion to the whole vampires-as-gay people they had going on since the beginning, so not really.

Killing Maxine was the only right thing Violet ever did. I was almost disappointed she didn't stomp that thing she calls a heart into the ground.

I will praise Digimon (Adventure and Tamers) until the end of times. And Digimon and Pokémon weren't even that similar beyond the "there are monsters who sometimes evolve" thing.

Now that I think about it, the way she met Christopher (while committing mail fraud, which he jokingly pointed out) looks much less like a coincidence. I doubt she'll have another flashback episode next year, though.

I can maybe buy that she didn't actually build the bomb and Christopher was exaggerating his claims for some reason (he does seem kind of assholish), but I can't buy that the accusations of stalking were not valid, not after we saw Morello break into Christopher's house and take a bath in his fiancée's veil.
