I agree that the scene with Lucky is possibly the best moment Six Feet Under ever had.

I'm not sure if it was ever in the consideration to integrate her that much, but you're right that as of now, they probably couldn't do it if they wanted to.
I think that Piper doesn't actually want to be part of the family. She's friends with almost everyone in that group now, but she doesn't consider herself a part of it, maybe because of leftover feelings of superiority, maybe because she's not quite a family type of person (Alex wasn't a part of the family either, if I…
POSSIBLE SPOILERS
I wasn't quite sure of Morello's mental state in the episodes following this one and I wonder if her fixating on another inmate is going to be an issue next season (or even if she let go of her Christopher obsession following the wedding dress incident). Maybe he did help her, but outside of the scene…
I think that Christopher was completely within his rights to confront Morello but completely not within his rights to call her out to the inmates. It doesn't help him, it doesn't help them, the only thing it does is hurt. Obviously he can't be blamed for not acting completely rationally about it, but still.
Is it wrong to like Polly? She was totally awful last season, but I think she has really grown as a character and somehow even makes Larry better. Sometimes.
Yeah, but still… he could have easily told Piper to stick around for a bit after the funeral and do it then, no? I usually like Cal, but that was pretty painful.
The show is always super annoyed at having to have a plot. It has a lot of compelling characters and a lot of the Eva Green factor, but then it has to move the plot forward and it's always stupid ("I had a vision I guess, just roll with it", "let's kill vampires some more, it's not like anyone cares about this part")…
These have been so much more fun to read than the actual reviews all season.
I don't think he doesn't care about Proteus, just that he feels guilty enough about Caliban's creation to not bring him up.
I kind of dislike the whole distinction "my favorite" and "objectively best". How do you measure that kind of thing? Is a show objectively better if it never strikes out or if it makes you emotionally connect more than you do with anything else?
I kind of liked the scene. A nice visual to how Lettie Mae seems to think of Tara anyway.
Actually that's an established thing. Remember Jason's storyline with Lizzy Kaplan back in season 1? That involved a lot of hallucinating. The writers do treat V like any drug they need it to, true, but it has happened before.
Why not? Given that he took six months to challenge Violet's bullshit, he clearly enjoys the submissivity in bed a bit.
lol @ shows objectively better than Six Feet Under
In the situation they're in - abandoned by everyone, surrounded by Hep-V vampires - a dead body in the woods barely registers as important.
Kenya's first instinct was right, they are far more likely to hurt themselves than to actually make some sort of meaningful defense. I could trust some of the Bon Temps folks with a firearm or two, but just seeing Maxine get all giddy at holding something deadly in her arms and/or the guys who basically just started…
Caliban, Alaska Thunderfuck would like to have a word with you.
(And yeah, there are plot holes the size of a Louisiana town completely wiped of the map, but I have a superpower of ignoring that kind of thing for the sake of enjoying television and I am going to exercise it.)
Kenya, girl. Get your shit together. When a bunch of crazy comes running your direction, you do not arm that crazy. That's like the first rule of crazy.
