Howdy, Douglas!
Howdy, Douglas!
I prefer CSIS: Montreal over the original CSIS. CSIS: Quebec, however, is garbage.
Floyd was the best. They actually worked as a couple.
Blue Man! Where your feet at?!
WE HAVE TO GO BACK……
Basterds is my favorite Tarantino movie. I will absolutely, positively never forget the first time I saw the "Operation Kino" scene in theaters. If it was physically possible for jaws to hit floors, it happened in that theater.
I've long felt that Pulp Fiction's violence has been perplexingly overblown, especially when compared to Reservoir Dogs (what with Tim Roth basically taking a bath in his own blood for half the movie).
PF is probably the least violent movie Tarantino has ever made.
Two words:
MUMMIES. ALIVE.
Sarcastically, I'm in charge.
For real…..
WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY????
That just kinda blew my mind.
…..I mean, that shit just kinda blew my mind.
Interesting point regarding Death Proof. While I can definitely see it being judged as a part of the whole that is Grindhouse, I think it stands enough on its own to be viewed as an individual movie. I don't think you *need* Planet Terror to evaluate Death Proof.
I don't see it as blasphemous. It was his first film, and the guy has clearly evolved as a storyteller. You'd probably hate it if everyone thought the first thing you ever did was the best thing you ever did.
OBLIGATORY TARANTINO RANKINGS:
This is my favorite aspect of the whole Tarantino-verse theory. It's kinda brilliant.
From Director Zack Snyder:
That Fucking Owl Movie
"Cherry Bomb" made me lose it.
Guardians on Friday. Tampa Comic Con on Saturday. Dope weekend.
Winter Soldier is the blockbuster of the year, so far. Blew me away.
