My biggest beef with Griffin (and the issue plaguing the Cavs most right now) is the 4-5 year deals he handed JR, Shumpert, and Thompson. Committing that many years and a combined $179 million to a group of players who aren’t high ceiling contributors offers you no flexibility to make significant roster changes…

Yeah, no one is “avoiding LeBron” just so that they can go get annihilated by the Warriors/Spurs. The truth is: these East GMs are just being fucking stupid.

None of these teams could beat the Cavs because none of these have seemingly even TRIED to beat the Cavs. Cleveland is spending out the ass for their roster, constantly trying to add pieces, and no one else seems as interested in being as aggressive.

But that’s kind of my point. A lot of the information and insight that gets reported does, in fact, turn out to be real. Of course. But there’s also a metric shit ton of it that’s just straight up misinformation or fabrication for clicks.

Honestly, when you talk about “Fake News”, I think that term applies far more to the sports world than anywhere else.
