Great post, thank you!
Great post, thank you!
Haha… Wait, Disqus has a block list? :)
You can find much, much worse nitpickers in the other comments. I get troubled, sometimes, fir the sake of discussion but when I am actually watching this or any other show, I am not thinking too much about it - you are talking to a guy who finds The Strain enjoyable.
I feel you. The main control room seems to be comprised of six people, as does the security team. Whereas you have numerous hosts and guests engaged in muriads of unpredictable scenarios; even two minor explosions demand authorization in order to get carried out.
I don't really understand the science behind the hosts and it has been one of the most frustrating / enjoyable aspects of the show so far. Some sort of synthetic material that mimics human tissue? We have yet to see a power source or a CPU…
I figured each host has a certain underlying skin pigmentation, it just gets activated once the fluid "warms up" the body.
Just a stray bullet point: I really liked the imagery of that red fluid (actual blood?) entering the newly created host body and the skin beginning to gain color.
Thank you! So far, looks like the park is hiring borderline psychos only.
"- Hey, man, can you give me your pen for a moment? I need to write something down…"
"- FUCK YOU, YOU SICK FUCK! I'll shove my fucking pen up your fucking asshole, you goddam' prick! Be fucking grateful that we're fucking friends and fucking …
And what's with the cursing and generally everyone being a giant douche, short of being actual psychos? If I were head of security, I'd be more concerned about shimmering employee-on-employee violence than whatever is going on in the park.
People in the future are talking about this legendary thread, I had to see it for myself.
She also stands nearly motionless and expressionless, as if she's powered down, which I found odd.
I really like how everyone in the show is always calling him "Luke Cage" and not just "Luke", or "(Mr.) Cage" or anything, no, it's always full name and surname. "Hey, people, he's the title character! His name is important!"
Traveled back in time, just to read this.
I know this is the Hopkins Appreciation Section, I just wanted to point out how ridiculously attractive I find Sidse Babett Knudsen to be. And I shouldn't; the woman is entirely not my usual style, yet here she is. It's probably the whole air of authority. Yep, that's it.
Donald Glover was just practicing here for his role as Lando Calrissian in an upcoming Star Wars movie. Trust me, I come from the future.
Nice Black Panther nod, written on the newspaper on that graffiti that Luke passes by in the episode's beginning.
I would love if HBO went a bit meta and had a Throneworld appear in the show , looking exactly like the sets for Game of Thrones.
Never too late, fellow time-traveler!
I wonder how the upcoming movies will acknowledge SHIELD's return. Or maybe they'll skip by it entirely - the Avengers in the comics don't always do business with SHIELD.
I understood that reference!
