And I’d like to thank the team for going along with my latest scheme. I doubt we’ll do another pass. It was too much a pain in the ass.
Trophies are one thing, but a lot of people have hundreds of dollars worth of stuff tied to their name, and if you happen to have your accounts on more than one system (ie, a PS4 at home and a PS4 at your brother’s home) you’ll be locked out of your stuff on the “new” account on an “away” console, which would be great…
If Blizzard doesn’t want people figuring out ways to farm loot boxes then maybe they should make their loot system less shitty so people don’t feel the need to abuse the system.
Eh, if i were banned for doing something like this, i’d fucking chargeback my game. You implemented this, either take it out and face the feedback, or suck up and realise that exp gains -> occasional box -> shitty gacha repeats is not fun.
I am 100% on the opposite end of this spectrum. Who cares if someone farms for XP in a game where it means next to nothing?
Because not everyone wants to play against try hards all the time and just enjoy playing with friends and still being able to earn customization options.
Who would you race, there isn’t any multiplayer?
Never heard of this game. Is it good?
unless they put it together really poorly it shouldn’t actually be that hard. (for one of their own developers)
Speaking from experience with Databases and user management, outside of primitive validation and shit like word filters, it would just be another check, possibly using the existing code, to verify the…
Why? You don’t have to on XBL. You don’t have to on Steam. You don’t have to on virtually every other gaming platform. This is a silly non-argument, and why even try to give it weight? Why would you be *against* people being able to change their names? It’s utterly silly that the PSN doesn’t allow you to change your…
PSN is pushing a decade old at this point, and a lot of people first set theirs up as children. By the time you realize “BUTTZ_R_FUNEE” is a terrible name, you’ve probably spent a few years buying digital stuff, building a friends list, racking up trophies if that’s your thing, etc
It still blows my mind that an industry that thrives on “adopting” gameplay mechanics that are well-made, and well-received, to shoehorn into every AAA game imaginable has done nothing with the Nemesis system.
Shadow of Mordor was my first big “wow” moment on my PS4. I frigging LOVED the game. It ticked a lot of boxes for me. I can’t wait for this one. The idea of taking down customized forts and then setting them up as my own sounds really fun.
Fell beasts are not dragons.
Cannot wait for this. My only hope is that there’s a little more variety in the landscapes you get to explore, since the first one was repetitively bleak. Even if not, though, I’m on board. SoM was a great game, and an especially good time-waster.
Sounds like a natural expansion of the system. I’m glad they’re leaning hard into the fan-fiction territory here. Shadow of Mordor was juuuuust close enough to canon that I was really thrown off by the ending.
I fear that they are doing this for all of the Schlong reasons.
