Don’t worry about the chips, but the lamp cord for the wiring harness is pretty hard to come by right now.

Just commenting here to say this is good Jalop--thanks for excellent car related content.
You can’t expect dealers of such a boutique product to actually HAVE any inventory.
I already have an all aluminum vehicle, it’s 22 years old and is rated for 68city/74highway.
Looked like it should have cost less than $20k? For a hybrid 5 seater? Seems like a great deal to me.
I had the opposite reaction. I though the SC looked stubby in person, kinda toy-like. I thought the Maverick looked more like a traditional small truck than I expected. Different strokes, right?
C8s are still pretty damn rare and expensive - quite a bit more than “generic” BMWs and Porsches. That “$64k C8" that GM was pushing ended up being more of a myth than the $35k Model 3.” Realistically, you’re going to be paying close to $90k for a used C8.
Williams looks dead-on like my Losi Junior 2 RC car scheme when I was 11.
This list is almost the exact reverse of how most F1 fans would rank the liveries (Red Bull would be in the middle, but Williams and especially Alpine would be bottom and Ferrari would be top of the list just for going back to the early-90s red and black).
The Williams livery reminds me of something you’d see in the Wipeout racing games franchise. And the closer we get to antigrav racing, the better imo.
Haas just looks... boring. At least do something with it. Let kids doodle on it with washable markers before each race, let the broadcasters greenscreen things on it…
Well that list was shit and there wasn’t even that much to choose from. Now let’s see you mess up NASCAR and Indycar liveries for fun.
The nearly identical swoopy lines on the Mercedes and Aston Martin cars make them look like a pair of bar league softball teams that both ordered their jerseys from the same generic template.
This list is a good reminder that style is subjective...
it is hard to imagine a more wrong list. my god. McLaren and Renault should be blurred out of all video and photos for how obscenely ugly they are.
meanwhile Williams, while inoffensive, is not particularly good it is disjointed and has no connection to anything that would make you look at it and say “that’s a williams”…
I’m 100% certain blasting music from exterior speakers is not the solution to that problem.
Yes, absolutely. I sort of alluded to this when I mentioned the Versa’s engine going into other vehicles that might not have room in front for a manifold.
Developing cars is so incredibly complex, with pressures from purchasing and higher management.
Often times, if engineers had their way, a car would be better.…
9 out of 10 times this has nothing to do with engineering and everything to do with management or department bullshit.
The bridge was taken down, rstored and reinstalled once already in 2017 so it obviously isn’t a permanent change and the news story I read said that it would be reinstalled once the yacht is past the span. Nothing but rage porn here.
The Dutch build $550 million boat. Some Yankee completely foots the bill to temporarily dismantle an unused neglected bridge for 1 day(!) which—-knowing the Dutch—-no doubt includes funding to refurbish the derelict bridge. Some quacks among the Dutch community reward both feats with throwing produce at a magnificent…
