I’m all for more GPs in just about every country, including Saudi Arabia, but we gotta be honest here. They’ve done a bit more than just kill one person to get them the reputation they have today. Imo it’s still nowhere near enough to turn down a good track to run a GP on.

By running through some fences, he lost speed relatively gradually which is good in terms of crash safety since your body takes a lower g-force during the crash.

Well it’s quite unfortunate for me to tell you then that 99% of girls don’t even know the difference between a VW Golf and a Toyota Corolla. And they sure as hell have no idea what hp is or what it does.

I find that most people don’t give a shit about autopilot. And those who do like it have already spent the past 10 years drooling over Papa Musk and Teslas.

Those are niche cars, though. Plus the Supra isn’t really a Toyota. And honestly, the FJ Cruiser is holding value so damn well, I think it’ll get classic status in the future and soar in value for the lower mileage examples

It should be repaired bit by bit, not completely repaved. When a part of the track starts crumbling and when there are potholes is when it should be repaired. It should only be repaved once repairs start being needed often.

Do we want to see fast cars going fast, or do we want to see multi-million dollar prototypes get the shit kicked out of them for no reason at all?

Seriously. When will people realize that cars are just good. Bikes are great and all, but for over 90% of the US population, it is unfeasible to switch to bikes, electric or not, just because of how inconvenient it is.

A bike WITHOUT a motor shouldn’t be ridden on sidewalks.

If you just lost your job then don’t buy an e bike, simple as that. Buy a normal one which is a) cheaper, b) more eco friendly, c) healthier.

Yeah, except you’re comparing cars, which people buy for fun and are often times necessary, with guns, which people buy for fun but are absolutely unnecessary. And honestly, yeah, people kill people. The gun-buying process should be much more regulated and enforced.

Yeah, because having your face impaled by a rigid pole is such a great alternative to hitting the windshield. Honestly, I’d rather go through the windshield than be fucking speared like a fish on my own steering wheel/column.

Ah yes, when you’re about to rear end someone and your brakes pop your instinctive reaction will definitely be to grab the parking brake. Either way, after the minimum 1 second you spend on reacting to realizing that your brakes are shot, the parking brake is a) never tuned in well and b) only uses your rear wheels,

Non collapsible steering columns are what scare me the most. You know, I work out so my legs/back/core are strong enough to keep me from folding over into the dash with just the lap belt, but there’s no escaping a big steel steering wheel coming for your face at whatever speed you crashed at. If it doesn’t kill you,

is it even possible to buy leaded gas any more?

I’m actually just fine with the front, it’s the rear on most Hondas that ticks me off. The taillights specifically.

I feel like they’re more extreme car people. Half the time the owners literally built the car and even if they didn’t, they gave up comfort, dealership service, ease of use, ergonomics, and sometimes even performance in exchange for fun, style, and generally just the enjoyment of cars.

Actually just last week I rear ended my best friend. It was a really dumb situation.

Nuh uh. 69 Camaros are so good looking, this is coming from a teen. Better than the first gen Mustang, imo.

Wfile I think first gen GTO prices are crazy, the styling is not overrated. The vertical headlights are absolutely killer and are so classy that it cant be put into words how much I love them.
