So you can’t be sideways and faster the other 5 months of the year. And I thought on the road the main goal isn’t to go faster.

I’m saying that the benefit of a lighted seatbelt is not that you can check your kids’ seatbelts, but your kids can find the buckle at night. It costs like 50 cents for the manufacturer, so like 5 dollars for you. It saves you time and makes your kids not scream when they can’t find the buckle.
How do people find these old running beetles? I desperately want one but each one I find is either restored and expensive or halfway biodegraded.
What’s so bad about the floating roof thing? I find it okay, it’s not like it makes the design any better, but it’s not making the cars look worse in most cases.
I agree. The X3/5 are pretty good. Like honestly quite nice for an SUV. The X7 is a little much. The X4/6 are a little awkward, but not as bad as people here say.
The first couple gens of Merc SUVs are still horrendous. Now they’ve become much better.
Idk man, even though you’ll never look at them, they’re very fun. What else would you put there, oil temp?
All the lines are sharper, especially on those nostrils up front, which makes it look crisper.
The second one is not good looking. The first, third, and fourth car only has the martini livery on non-curvy surfaces. The last one is good, but the stripes curving over the rear fender is an exception to my rule. That looks great.
Jesus christ, is it not socially okay to accept the fact that Eastern and South Eastern Asians generally have thin eye slits? Is it socially not okay to say that pupils are black? Is it socially not okay to say that being drunk can be resembled through crossed eyes? The taillights of this car are horizontal, thin, and …
This is what I’m sayingggggg. The attention should be directed at the R1S suv because it a) looks a helluva lot better and b) it’s much more practical than the truck which can’t actually be used as a truck.
I understand your impulse to not get a Jeep, most come standard with a grumpy grill and blue lives matter sticker
Mechanics only love stuff that brings in big bucks, so the opposite of a taco or 4 runner
The cars you showed, besides the GTI, will drive ~1,000 miles/year, generally keep its value, look upscale, and are exotics.
hmm... person with username of “Sideways is faster” can be inferred to be pushing people to buy strange cars such as the Mazdaspeed. Mazdaspeed has made more FWD than RWD cars, therefore you will be sideways in a ditch rather than sideways and faster with your strange Mazdaspeed 3
I feel like this would be fine if there wasn’t a chance for a rotary car to come back. Since there’s still a chance, the name should be kept for the rotary cars
Idk, the Martini livery makes anything boxy 4,537% better, not just anything. It looks a bit strange on the 488. Doesn’t have the crisp to it.
Exactly, the 914 looks pretty awkward in a bad way. Especially the front. The rear is pretty okay, but it’s nothing great, being very generic for that period.
holy fuck that’s a great improvement
The only cars that were legitimately not good were the 7 and 6 series. Otherwise, I liked his designs. The E90/92 was amazing, easily my favorite modern 3 series. The E60 was controversial, but I loved it as a kid. The headlights looked like eagles wings. The E81/82/87/88 was fantastic for its class. The X5 was pretty…
