I hesitate to even bring it up on here because of of spoilers. Hopefully this tag will dissuade people who haven't seen it from reading this. Also, its been a few years since seeing the movie so after thinking about it I might have to edit if I get details wrong.
I love the final two scenes of Take Shelter. It definitely takes a very specific interpretation for it to work but I definitely think that's what Jeff Nichols was going for. I completely bought in so I think it actually elevates everything that came before it.
Oh yeah, I know. That was more a sarcastic comment about it being left off this article.
Could've sworn Schoolboy Q's new album was coming out in July… hmmm
My friends go to Dave Matthews Band every year. They convinced me to come with them once. It wasn't like it was terrible or anything. I could tell that they had rehearsed and generally knew what they were doing. But how they inspire this kind of devotion for otherwise sane people is beyond me. I tried, I really…
Shea Serrano is the best. His book, The Rap Year Book, is outstanding and he is probably my favorite twitter follow. I really can't recommend his writing enough.

Sideways also has a great scene of just a bunch of adults sitting around and enjoying a joint at the end of the day.
Soooo Inception + Batman Begins + The Prestige - Nolan = Doctor Strange?
Probably
Which is also true of …. "Hey Ya"
Those lyrics are probably the worst in his career but the song is so good that I completely give them a pass (more accurately, I just tune them out now). It's probably my favorite song on the album at this point.
Unfortunately some addicts can do a very good job of hiding the abuse and look incredibly healthy for a while at least.
Was Fury Road too Oscarbaity for MTV?
