AdBlock reduces the number of both therefore reduces the value of AVClub when trying to sell ad space or taking a cut of Google AdSense.

How much did Pandora make from those 1M plays?  That seems like it should be extremely relevant to the conversation.

"Pandora makes a profit (albeit a small one) from art they did not create."

The more I think about it, the more I think AV Club bungled their Arrested Development Season 4 reviews.  The had one review of a binge of the entire season which is probably not the best way to watch and really appreciate it.  I know a lot of fans did that too but 8 straight hours of any humor will get tiresome.

and featuring Sir Ben Kingsley:

Where the Wild Things Are and Beasts of the Southern Wild will make a fantastic double feature someday. Two films that people seem to ether love or hate that I think perfectly illustrate the confusion, excitement and fear of being a child from the child's perspective.

Got it. Sorry if I sounded defensive, definitely didn't mean to. You know, I never really connected the themes of Mad Men and Fight Club but that might be a really good call.  Identity and commercialism being such huge aspects of both.  I was thinking about going back and rewatching Mad Men from the beginning (I've

Yeah I know I've read/heard the same sentiment a million times before (the idea isn't novel) but I love the way Todd worded it.

" Losing everything also means having the freedom of getting to choose what comes next without the crushing weight of expectations."

Well that's kind of backwards. If they stop doing it then we actually can be surprised when it happens.  The more they pick weird names the less shocking it should be.  Unless you read my post as "we should start accepting it" not "we should stop being surprised by it"

Can we all agree to be at the point where we stop being surprised by celebrities giving their kids weird names?

I think so, yes.  If Justin Bieber pulls a Justin Timberlake and comes out with an album full of great beats, mature songwriting and quality vocals I do think the AV Club would reward it with the grade they believe it deserves.  Isn't that better than just saying "music isn't as good as it used to be so we're just

The thing is that even today Kanye West is an average rapper (though at times he can be great).  It's his amazing ability to put songs and albums together in a way that nobody else in rap is doing that makes him really stand out.  This would still be the case in the 80s and 90s.  He's essentially a more prolific Dr.

Really?  You think so?  I'll take Watch the Throne (an album that actually takes some chances) over Blueprint 3 any day.  Now if you'd said "Kingdom Come" I'd have to agree.

They're opening for Nine Inch Nails at Made in America actually.  But outdoors at Stage AE in Pittsburgh is a pretty great venue.

What the hell does "the trolls of music" mean?

"What does he mean 'Not Penny's Boat'?"

I think the idea is that she died while Don was in California.  I have no idea what Marah means with "much of this season has been a hallucination."  The theory suggests that Megan died when Don was in California because everyone that he saw when he was "dead" in the pool had potentially already passed away: Private

Funny, I completely got a Mel Gibson vibe from that image.

@avclub-ade723a6815e7dffd777dfb9719c8ad3:disqus For your second question they blurred out Buster's stump because Tony Hale actually has a hand.  The gag is that you can clearly tell he still has a hand even when they blur it out.
