I hate it when the people who are obligated to pay a celebrity try to get the public on their side by pointing out how much said celebrity makes. Usually it’s sports team owners saying something like, “We’ve already made him a multi-millionaire; what more could he possibly want?” and I just want to smash things,

“I don't see a problem here" -- Christopher Nolan

To be fair, RoS wastes every single actor and concept, including Ian McDiarmid, whom they brought in because they went “damn we have no idea what to do because we didn’t plan this shit at all, let’s hope we can coast on Palpatine’s charisma”.

Keith had the support of millions of dollars and blood transfusions. I’ll take heroic intake with no help over coddling any day.

What are you going on about?

You would be too if you had been previously married to Gregg Allman.

Welcome to the AV Club, where it’s always the main page of reddit from 2 days ago.

*sniff* I don’t...*sniff*

I remember bumping in the mid-80s...........

I finally watched Killing Eve, and I’m not that impressed. Jodie Comer is a lot of fun as a complete sociopath, but that’s it. The story isn’t anything special, the characters inconsistent, and the production is sloppy. The season finale ends like a commercial break, I thought my DVR missed the end.

Because she had such a promising start to her career and she was so talented as well as reliably delivering the goods in her various rolls, I never doubted that Eastwood derailed her career after their split.

The A.V. Club’s willingness to claim they are the critical consensus has spiked while the depth and breadth of their reviews have plummeted. I thought Season 3 was a return to form, but I don’t pretend my view is automatically the correct one. Even though my perspective is much more in line with the critical consensus.

Yeah, Daredevil was definitely the most-watched of these. Disney is obviously charging an arm and a leg for new seasons, with the intention of just this scenario playing out.

We’re going to see new versions of these shows, although hopefully no one will ever have this version of Danny Rand have to carry a show solo

My sense is that this has very little to do with the quality of the show, and everything to do with Disney positioning itself as Netflix’s new biggest competitor, with the Marvel brands as one of its biggest weapons to pry viewers away.

Dear god, the zombies have evolved to the point of exposition!

Well, in House M.D. terms, she got Cuddied.

Wow.

Rick tells Darryl he never asked anyone to follow him...I guess he forgot the ricktatorship where he Basically demanded everyone fall in line behind him

I hope Disney has the same dismal results as CBS All Access.  Fuck all these companies holding their content for hostage.  They saw all of us kick cable to curb for the same reason and if all of them (Netflix, Hulu, etc.) think we’re all going to pay for all of them, they’re kidding themselves.  People want to spend

Can the third season of Jessica Jones finally just be her being a hardboiled superpowered PI solving cases, rather than another season of origin story?
